Hai friends this was very nice to share to my mylot family that i experienced my movements of my baby for the first time. Today afternoon when i was sleeping i felt something is moving in my womb. Immediately i called my mother and asked why this was happening to me. She replied that those were the baby movements and they will become frequent movements after 1 month. Then we talked a lot about my childhood, my brothers childhood etc for 1hr. This was making me very happy.. This feeling was exiting for me.. Do you have any movement to share with me?????

I just had my first child almost 6 weeks ago! I was sick the entire 9 months, developed gestational diabetes, my feet and legs were painfully swollen... but it was soooo worth it! He moved alot too, sometimes so much that I couldn't sleep at night. I remember one day at work I was standing at the customer service counter with my belly against the counter and he kicked me so hard i was actually pushed away from the counter. All I could do was smile :)

You must have squashed the baby at the counter and he protested..lol!! My firstborn is also a boy. Once he kicked so hard that it looked that alien movie when the alien was pushing to get out.

Hi! I remember those days when I was pregnant with my son! Both my husband and my daughter wanted to feel the baby kick and we all smiled when he did. What else are you going through? I also remember craving protein and feeling quite nostalgic towards the end. Why? Probably when I was going through pregnancy, I couldn't help but think of how the world had changed since I was a kid and can only imagine what the changes will be when my kids are in their 20's. There was something quite peaceful about it. If you want to share more memories, feel free! Be well!

Hi! Thanks for getting back to me. :-) Like I said in my previous message, I just felt nostalgic so I listened to Simon and Garfunkel. I know it sounds a little strange but whenever I play it for my son, he really lights up and smiles! Also wanted to see a lot of the Muppets. What do you find yourself doing? I also went to Goodwill a LOT and found a ton of clothes there (amongst other things) as little ones grow so fast that it's often better that way than to pay full retail. Sometimes you can find other things too but it's really luck of the draw. I also found myself not only getting what clothes he would need immediately but if he was big so I got the next size up as well. Why not? I'd need them soon enough anyway! Keep sharing!

I am delighted that you felt the first movements of your dear little baby. It was so lovely that you chatted to your mom for around one hour. I think that the first movements are like fluttering of a butterfly feel amazing. Late on in pregnancy is feels like a donkey kicking. It is so very exciting feeling the baby move when pregnant.

All three of my pregnancies were very smooth sailing. I do not have morning sickness or very complicated pregnancies so I enjoyed all of my pregnancies very very much. The most recent one is 2.5 years ago and I remember on several occassions, I felt this sensation as though my baby is twisting on my insides. It was her doing of cos and if I can ask her I would like to know what she did. Now that the baby is 2.5 years of age, she is as curious as she can be. I think that this is normal with all 2 yr olds but I dont think that they will be curious while in the womb, do you?

Do not count on it too much. Every pregnancy is different. I dont feel the twisting with my first and my second, so if you do not feel it, its okay. Do not worry. They say a pregnant lady must be happy most times so that the baby will be happy. I think that is true. I think babies can feel it of their mommies arent happy, even in the womb. Take care

Hi Anusha, That's great! I remember when I first felt my baby's movements. It was a very surreal and wonderful moment. Like magic! I couldn't believe that there's a life growing inside of me and that I made it happen. I felt so blessed. But I also felt humbled and that I have a great responsibility towards my baby. Enjoy these moments.

Congratulations on feeling the first movements on your baby. There is nothing better in the entire world than that first time that we feel our baby moving inside us; especially if it is our first baby and we have never experienced anything like that before. We often don't realise just how much we are worried about having a healthy baby until we feel him or her move inside us, and then that makes us realise that they are alive, healthy, and that everything is alright. I hope that you have a wonderful pregnancy and a very healthy baby.

It's a mixture of excitement and nervousness. I can't remember those moments anymore. I have a friend who is pregnant and I always touch her stomach and feel the baby kick inside. It's soooo exciting really, how baby moves and kicks inside.

You can go through all of the pregnancy tests and watch all the programs on expectant mothers that you cam but often it does not become real to a pregnant woman until you feel your baby move for the first time. Feeling that life move inside you just does something wonderful to you. It is one of the worlds greatest experiences.

Hi anusha Well, I always wanted to be a girl. This is the reason. The women folk are so very blessed that they can feel and experience all this. I wish you a good health and a safe and happy delivery. Take care. Sorry, I cannot have any better experience than reading this and I will wait for the day when my wife gets pregnant and tells me more on how does this feel. I am quite sure it will be a havenly feeling... you know... having a life right inside you. ps. A couple of my MyLot friends went missing once they came to know that they were pregnant and havent returned yet. I am still waiting for the news and their return but it is more delayed.

First of all, Congratulaltions Anusha for the coming baby. You will have so much joy conceiving your child. Yes, I did remember the feeling that you are trying to describe. And truely, the baby will move more on the coming days. Talk, sing and read more to your baby even if he/she is still in the womb. I wish that you will have a happy, intelligent and healthy baby.

Wow that seems very exciting especially for first time moms. I wish I could experience the same thing in the future, God willing =) But I am not married yet so I guess I should wait some more. ^^ My friends have shared the same happiness too when they got pregnant with their first babies. It was really amazing hearing from them about what they feel.
