Costco raise its membership fee

So, if you are loyal member of Costco warehouse club, you should notice the increase of its annual membership fee, it is now up to $55. What do you think of it? Do you think that cost too great and you might want to cancel it? Or you still make some cheap purchase overall within a year with this membership fee? I would rather stop my membership there, since I don't shop a lot in Costco. I am just an occasional shopper, so I might want to reconsider it.

I do have a membership with them and did not realize it had gone up. I guess I better pay attention during renewal time next year because $55.00 seems like way too much for membership there. I can understand if the prices were a lot cheaper but they really are not.
It would not be worth the high fee for us as we don't shop there monthly. Thanks for letting me know and I will take a look as my membership is up in February.

That is crazy. People cannot hardly afford to live now as it is. Everything seems to be on the rise.
