Actually these pieces are easier to do than one that has open areas of material and you have to backstitch around. There are no fractional stitches or specialty stitches or backstitching all you have to do is x's makes it not look so overwhelming.

I don't like back stitch, but I've long since learned that if its more 50 or so stitches I'm pretty sure I'll never finish...

I went ahead and printed off this chart like I did the last one, but I haven't tried to do any of them yet. I got the material and it had a free pattern in the package that was much easier than the one I printed so that is what I am working on now. I will try to get to some of these other ones soon. Thanks for sharing. I just wish it wasn't 25 count!

The colors are quite striking. It's not something I would do but I sure find the colors intersting. DMC has some wonderful floss colors. Thanks Marie!

Now that I am finished with that April Birthstone and can work on two pieces I am enjoying cross stitching again. I never knew that working on such dark colors would cause depression but there was a couple of times I almost tossed it. She goes to the framers wednesday. Then I will be glad to give it to John's granddaughter so I never have to look at it again. Its one of those pieces saw it, did it and DONE with it LOL Yea the new pattern does have a lot of colors doesnt it? I just put them here in case someone that could not afford to purchase one and would like to do one could if they wanted. I really like Heaven and Earth designs better than Mystic Stitch.
