I complain secretly most of the times.. Especially when I get small grades in easy subjects.. Just recently, I got 2.2(final grade) in religion, but my midterm grade was 1.2..I can't believe it, how could it just drop like that? I passed all the tests and everything.. Should I complain? I can't even see my teacher since it is semestral break here...so I just messaged him in Fb..was I too rude?

For me, you should approach him personally and explain your side, don't message him on FB he will just ignore you if you did. At least if you talk to him personally there is no way that he can make any excuses to show you how you ended up that grade. Good-luck!

Hi lady I hope you would keep us updated about this. I really want to know what will be the professor's alibi for not giving you high grades. Hopefully you can get the grades you deserve. :)

I don't really think he has an alibi of some sort since he is a really nice professor. Maybe he just missed something or lost one of my papers..or even switched my grades with someone else..

I think complaining about your grade to your teacher is goods that if you are really confident on yourself. At least, you can discuss your weakness with your teacher. I think if you talk nicely to your teacher, it should be alright. But if you just talk to him or message him rudely and tell him that he shouldn't grade your so low, then I think that is too rude.

I would lie to talk to him too- if only I can find him. I am not the type of student who is close with their teachers though which is why I find it hard to do this..

The best way si to have a consultation with that particular professor and let him or her explain why your resulting grade is what you saw. Your professor should accommodate you and explain very thoroughly why it has happened. You mentioned that you tried contacting him via Face book. I don't recommend it since he might have a hard time explaining. Remember, you can't see the records for themselves. Both of you might encounter some difficulty in communicating. If you can, try to ahve his number and set up a meeting. There's nothing rude if you informed him of your feelings. As long as you asked politely (I'm presuming) and you didn't (in any way or form) threatened him, you should be able to talk the matter in a civilized fashion.

I would never threaten him, I think I do have his number somewhere...but this is the first time I am ever asking someone for a consultation so I don't really know what to do. I'll just wait for his reply for now...

It's ok to ask about it because you work hard for it but approach your prof in a proper way don't be rude it won't do you good . Ask him how he come up with that grade. Explain to him why you think you deserve a higher grade. It's posssible that he overlooked something. Goodluck!

That is the problem, I can't really ask him since I can't find him, maybe he is on vacation.. The only way I could ask him about it is through chatting, and he doesn't even respond to me.

Oh, I do..I thin I put it somewhere- he has 2 or 3 numbers I think... But wouldn't it be rude if I just call him out of nowhere and ask about grades?
