And finally, after seeing my gorgeous hello kitty pumpkin that my wonderful woman made me.. I decided I needed to make one for her.
So I thought it over, and decided there was only one answer!
Anyone who has seen any of my previous discussions, especially in relation to her birthday, will have noticed that she loves batman. Especially the Christian Bake, Dark Knight batman! She has all the DVD’s.. curtosy of myself for her birthday haha! mugs, T.Shirts, necklace.. everything. I even took her to see Batman live for her birthday.
So a batman pumpkin it was!
And after an hour, of gutting, and cutting, and hammering, and poking bits out with a screwdriver lol, I finally achieved this for her!

That looks awesome!! I was "batgirl" a few years ago for Halloween and I wish I thought to make a batman pumpkin. Yours came out really good and I'm sure she'll love it.
Pumpkin carving can get pretty intense lol. Last year my boyfriend and I carved one and we used this cute but creepy looking tree pattern and I remember the branches were super delicate and we had to be careful not to destroy the pumpkin. But I really do love the Batman one! I think I might have to do this one myself because it just looks so cool.

That's pretty cool. You got the logo on there perfectly though. I'm sure the curved part does get tricky..I know I always have the hardest time with those parts lol. I'll see if I end up getting a big pumpkin this year. If I do, then I definitely want to do the Batman logo after seeing how good yours came out.
It's getting a bit late to get a good pumpkin though =/ I saw a really cute idea with little mini pumpkins and I might do that. All you have to do is take those plastic vampire fangs and carve a space in the baby pumpkin big enough for the teeth to fit into. Then you can either use push pins or googly eyes to make the eyes. It seemed neat so I might try that. Or maybe you've inspired me to do a batman pumpkin lol!

oh my god!! that is actually the cutest thing i've ever heard!! wee mini vampire baby pumpkins?? oh wow!! i actually feel the urge now to go and get some little baby pumpkins! awk if only they lasted forever and didn't rot away in like a week lol!

Thats the third amazing pumkin picture you have posted! I have an idea that I should send any over to you to carve as you both clearly have a talent for this kind of thing! Lol : )

i had to post 3 discussions to show them all off because you can only upload one photo to a discussion, which i wish they would change haha!!
yes! send all your pumpkins!! haha.. we might start a halloween pumpkin carving business.. pity that we'll only be busy once a year though haha!!

That must have been really hard work carving that pumpkin if you just used a screw driver!
But it looks great!
I used to be like that, carving pumpkins with whatever sharp tools I could find in the house. A couple of years ago, I was able to buy a carving set. I've been using those eversince. It makes it easier to carve an angry face.

Sorry for late response. I've been busy lately. I can agree that Christian Bale is quite cute and that was definitely great Batman. Making this special batman - pumpkin was so sweet of you and I'm sure it took you hell of the effort. I hope you had great Halloween.
