After Yueyue's incident I found 2 other news that are related to hit and run issue or the children were been killed by the trucks. The one is that the Sichuan driver killed the 5 year old child to reduce compensation, it was really crazy then I hope the suspect must be send to the mental hospital instead or prison while the other one is 1 and a half-year-old young girl was killed outside of her home after she was struck by a truck. I think at this point the parents should be also the one to be blamed for letting their kids out of their sight. You can't totally blame the drivers all the time, I mean what if he is in the right place to drive then your children has wander off everywhere? Then probably the parents would be mad as hell to the drivers especially to the one who has no intentions to kill someone. Too bad due to the irresponsibility of parents the driver has always one to be blamed in case like this to the extent of being imprisoned because of the accident. I think the parents of the children must be charged a case for not eyeing their little kids especially babies like Yueyue. Isn't that understood that we should handle the kids very well especially when we are outside our home?

Nothing is wrong with China. Kids get killed in so many other countries too. To me, it is all about people's attitude.

Aside from that how come it is becoming consecutive weeks or even days? Then the scenarios were the same of hit and run incident. Except for the 5 year old boy that it was really did on purpose. I am curious if this is really an accident or there is something to do with population problem? Well I don't want to judge but of course I can't still avoid to think that there is still smells fishy regarding to this kind of situation.

It is very sad. As a parent, have an important role, to keep the children. Especially if it was outside the house. Much to be sacrificed when having small children, among other self- indulgence. Parents, should forget about self indulgence, and must pay attention to their children well, if do not want anything to happen their children.

I agree the parents should have the responsible when it comes to caring their kids. But the case last week is a very different case. It is very clear from the video that the kid was intentionally hit and run by the driver. what happened caught by the camera is to show what kind of people are living around that area..that's my view.

Yes, the parents of these kids need to be more responsible for them. It is not up to society in general to protect another's children at all times. There was a story on my local news the other day about a child being struck by a car. The story was the people on that street want a new stop sign put up. Their thinking is that maybe if the driver stopped, he might have saw the child in the street. How about making sure that child was not in the street when a car was coming? Educate the child that his 60 pound flesh is no match for a 2000 pound moving piece of steel. Removing the child from the street would have 100% guaranteed that the child would not have been struck in the street. I personally was driving on a residential street, and there were 3 kids, probably 5-7 years old, that just got out of a minivan. 2 kids ran across the street and the third saw me coming and stopped, but then ran across the street as well. Had I been accelerating I might have hit that 3rd child. But the real problem; the adult NEVER got out of the minivan to supervise the children. She was too concerned with parking it.

It is the responsibility of the parents to always look at their children at all times. Of course we do have household chores and we do not know that our kids are no longer of sight, or we let our children to play outside, or we bring them along when we go shopping or malling, whatever it is we are doing we must always tell our children or teach our kids not to go anywhere because accident can happen anytime. Specially tots, they are still exploring their world and without our guidance they might be in danger. We must teach them to avoid going to places where there are vehicles roaming around and it is dangerous to be near roads. The only least we sometimes do is put the blame always to the "killer" wherein they also are victims of the sad situation. In this kind of event, no one wants this to happen, nobody wants to kill innocent children, no driver wants to hit innocent child but it is because of the irresponsibility sometimes of the driver and the parents/guardian as well.
