Trimming All Around

Wow are you really busy. But when you get completely done you are going to have such a great feeling. Sounds like although a great deal of work you are enjoying your time doing so. I really like that color as my kitchen breakfast nuck is is the same color in swirls. I do need some new kitchen curtains so maybe sometime before Thanksgiving but for sure before Christmas as my kids will be spending a few days over and I like to switch off curtains several times a year. Give a whole new look to the room.

My dad always likes the feeling he gets when he does work on his house. He recently did a lot of work on the inside of the house. It had needed to be done for years, but he couldn't do it until he got some of the back pay for my mom's disability (dementia).

I put new turquoise sheers up in my bedroom. I think that is the last new thing I did recently with curtains. I am anxious to see these pictures. I hope you are having a wonderful time with this.

My hubby put up new curtains in the living room last summer as a surprise and I hate them!!!! I don't know what he was thinking as they have a valance sewn on and are like a jacquard in very pale tan and light green pattern ICK! They were so ugly I cried!!! Sadly they are still up!!! I could of made better looking curtains than that myself!!! Hung new curtains last year in the girls room lavender w/ polkadots & butterflies only they are too blue compared to the paint and the girls loved them too much for me to take them back. I made the curtains in my son's room last year race car valances cut in half and adjusted and then made the bottom cafe curtain on the bottom! Sewed it by hand too since I didn't have ahold of a working sewing machine at the time.

hi Grandpa Bob wow that must be quite a job but you know when we 'had out own home I loved to paint, it was such a great feeling to redecorated a room simply be changing the color of the walls. but I remember how tedious and how careful one had to be in doing the trim on the outside of our house. Nope no new curtains or d ra pes in years those are some of the things I miss living here in t his retirement center.

hi dear GrandpaBob we use the same drapes as in my husbands old apartment. One of the curtains was so big as he had a big window in the living room that now we got two out of it for the living room here. Saved us a heap of money to re use the old stuff and not buy new stuff. LOL

Not for a while but hopefully this winter I'll get my bedroom done then I will get new curtains..and bedding. I might get some for the kitchen when I am on vacation at Thanksgiving time....depends on if I get the motivation to paint!

I am so lazy, every time i want to do something better at home, but i can't. Of course my mother and sister are there to do those things, may be that's why i am lazy. Mainly the young boys having no interesting in home decoration. You have great interest in home decoration. I like it.
