At last Africa's strong man Gaddafi was toppled down and killed. He was a dictator no doubt. But by the way Gaddafi was killed that was inhuman and brutal. If NATO and
America was not there it was not easy task of the rebel force to defeat Gaddafi. Actually NATO is America's tools. America has taken the role of police. When America thinks necessary uses this tools. Iraq and Afghanistan are the examples. Next target may be disobedient Syria or Iran. North Korea is also disobedient 'subject' of America. North Korea is backed by China. So master of the world(as America thinks itself) has not enough courage to interfere there. America is a democratic country. I think peace loving people of America do not like the foreign policy of their Government. I hope someday America's people will raise their voice against this policy of their Government as they are doing now the 'Wall Street' movement.

I agree, we use the excuse of 911 attack to allow us to police other countries, but with much less press we have been doing this for many years. Many of us want our army to come home we have major troubles along our own boarders. We do no good in the countries we have invaded, as soon as we leave they will be back to their old tribal ways and in worse shape then they were before we interferred.

I agree and disagree. When Hitler invaded different countries, America tried to be isolationist. We learned from that, that you can't always be isolationist. We are different thinking people now - we are tired of war. The danger is that America will again want to be isolationist when another Hitler comes along. And this time, that Hitler might win.

Hi Bhanusb,
Our government does not represent the sentiments of the people any more than most governments do. I believe most Americans want peace. The real battles are between the governments and not the people as Mylot actually shows. On here, we see people from all over the world becoming friends.

Hi bhanu, I honestly dont know how to react to what America does.On the one hand most people were happy when the US army did the secret operation and killed Osama except probably the terrorists and part of the muslim world...Gadaffi too has terrorist links and has been openly encouraging and helping terrorists .But again, I would not be happy if America decides to come into my country and starts an operation here...
