I went to the cemetery yesterday to visit my mom's grave but one paticular tombstone caught my attention it's weird because it is mickey mouse statue that they use as tomb. So I got interested about it I search the net for some weird tombstones and I found one interesting article featuring odd tombstones http://becauseilive.hubpages.com/hub/Weird_but_True_Strange_Unusual_Tombstones. How about you what are the oddest tombstone you've seen?

Yes, i have read in the newspaper of today, of the most d types of tombs made for the dearly departed of people. There's a bus -like , shoe like and other shapes of tombs. I guess, they based them on the favorite thing of the departed.
But in our place, so far there's no odd tomb that we saw. I guess, people are just conservative.

Good eve simplyd! Yeah most probably it's about the favorite thing of the departed person or something really special for them. You're from Philippines too right?

It wasn't actually a tombstone but I thought this was cute. We had gone up to the cemetary to visit several family members that are buried there. On the way in my daughter started laughing and directed me to look over to the side of the road. At a tombstone was a baloon with 'Good Well Soon' on it. Stuck us as funny.

I have never seen tombstone like that. I read about two ago that in the Philipins there was a cemetery for big mammal such whale, shark and flipper they found out on the beach then buried. I think it's form of respect for other creatures. It's nothing wrong with it as long as it's been doing with good intention
