The Truman Show

It is a about Truman(Jim Carrey) who is the star in his own reality show for over 30 years and he doesn't even know it. He has been watched and loved all over the world but the one woman he loved was taken away from the show because she told him the truth. So in the movie he slowly finds out the truth- being in a tv show and everything is fake and acting... And in the end he goes out of the "world" and into the real world..It was quite a nice movie and touching too. How Truman's life, as perfect as it may be- the real life, with real problems and real love is still better. people should not live in their fantasized world and face the real world.. since it is there we can find real happiness.

I have seen this movie several years ago as well .The gesture of his wife in the wedding photo left me deep impression .

I like Jim Carrey as comedian, but in Thruman show he played really good serious part. The movie was really good, the story was so good. It could be also a real story if you have some imagine. I watch this movie at least 3 times but I can watch it again for sure.

Yes, I also enjoy Jima Carrey as a comedian, although he can too much, act too much and quite awkward to look at sometimes.. he is still very hilarious. 
Which is why it is great to see another side of him he also has another drama movie with Kate Winslet.. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

That would be a sad life. I would hate to wake up one day and find that all my friends and family were actors and it was all fake and acting. How sad is that?! Real life is best. You know where you stand most of the time anyway. Fantasy is just that and nothing is real.

yes..i like this.. one of those rare film thta plays with our mind and emotion..and imagination..

I like the movie, it was an interesting show.
I agree that living real life is better, but the idea was unique.
All those people working to keep one man in his special realm.
That sky was nice, and they also had interesting special effects to make the show believable for him like those storms they used to try and stop him.
