Do you think God will answer your prayers?

If you are not saved, your father is the devil. Look at it in your Bible on John 8:44. If the devil is your father and not God, how can you say in your prayer the word God the father, when He is not your father. Get an example to your earthly father, you can ask anything to your father right? he will give what you ask if it is for your own good. But try to ask anything to any people who doesn't know you, do you think he will give you? I would absolutely say NO. God can only answer to your prayer if you pray to let God forgive your sins, believe and trust Him that He die on the cross of Calvary to wash your sins away, and He is the only way to heaven, no one else and accept Him in your heart to be your Lord and Saviour.

Yes, I am saved and God is my Father and He does answer prayers. I feel sorry for those who do not understand or accept Him. I wouldn't absolutely say that God will not answer prayers from those who are not saved because I've seen it happen. If a person believes in God when he prays, God hears him. I don't think God has any obligation to answer the prayers of those who don't acknowledge Him otherwise, but He does now and then anyway. God is much bigger than the restrictions we put on Him.

Hi bessyjanmayi, I'm sure you mean well but I think that many will find what you say here to be offensive. You have been indoctrinated into that belief just as others have in another. You are really no different from a devout Muslim who feels certain that the Koren is the word of God and that only those who know that can be saved. I am not an atheist but I don't go around telling others what they should or should not believe and it's time that everyone get away from doing that. The Bible was never meant to be taken literally. All Christians should spend at least two months reading and meditating every day, to the exclusion of all other scripture, on the sermon on the mount found in Matthews gospel. I'm sure it would make a great difference and all for the best. I challenge all sincere Christians to try it. Blessings.

Yes, God answers my prayer because I know Him. He is mine and I am His. And I am glad that I have met Him, my life has been better now, compared to my life without really knowing God.

No, my father is Bert. Not of Bert and Ernie fame (that would be really disturbing).

I think that God answers the prayers of genuine individuals who are trying to get to know him and develop a personal relationship with him. He desires all the come to an accurate knowledge of him.1Timothy2:4 Those who sincerely want this and pray about it. He seeks to give them direction. I'm happy to have a personal relationship with him and to be able to pray to him regularly.

Our God is a big, big God. He listens to those who ask in prayers, those whose prayers are coming from their hearts. If one people who prays, believe that God will provide all his needs then it will come true. There are these devil worshippers- if they pray to the devil maybe i guess the devil will answer them; there are also pagan worshippers- if they pray to their idols then i guess these gods will answer them; but if all GOD believers will pray WHOLEHEARTEDLY to HIM i am very much sure that this GOD will answer the prayers of His people regardless of affiliation.
