Why there is less women in politics?

Hi Friends, This is the time of women power all around. Women is doing good in every field of life. They are flying jets to making our homes sweet. But there is one field where women are not in good number. Why there is less women in politics?

It was not because they are women, then all the women we think are not good in politics. Many example to proove that women can be good and successful in politics, Cory Aquino in Philippines or M. Teacher in Englan as an exmple. If something fails, it's because of others factors, and not because they are women who play politics!

Really womens are not so interested in politics. Womens always prefer house budget but not national budget. But in my state chief minister is a woman but there are low women peoples involved in politics. Its not because they cant do that thing good but really they had more works rather than politics.

I am a woman but I don't think women are good in a position of power, I have had many male boses and a few women boses, I never liked the way the women operated..I live in Australia and we have a woman Prime Minister and she is the worst Prime Minster ever..I think mayeb women work too much from their emotional side and try too hard to be as good as the men , I know I would prefer to have males in power....

Hi Clady, I know some females who are very good in politics, like Hillary Clinton,Sonia Gandhi. I don't know the real reason but I think that they like to engage in other things rather than these kinds of power struggle.

Maybe because women are smarter and are not throwing themselves out there. They most likely have more ability to do a real job!

Women are slowly coming out their shell who were hitherto suppressed by society. Not only in politics they were not seen in any of the other prominent positions. Give them time and they will soon take over.
