Getting a flat tire

what happend to people these days? About a month ago I was driving down the highway on my way home with my two kids in the car, no bottle or diaper bag (I just went up one exit) and my phone battery died and just my luck I got a flat tire. well I knew I had a doughnut, but not good at changing tires, so I got out of my car and started waving my hands above my head hoping someone would stop (I was still on the highway) and people slowed down to look at me but did not stop. Finally a nice man stopped and helped change my tire and then I was on my way. It just sickens me with people these days, so please if you see someone pulled over to the side of the road who looks like they need help, expecially a woman with children in her car please help her. Now I probably will never see this man gain to pay him back so I plan on paying it forward.

Nowadays , its very difficult that somebody will stop to help others , not because they are not good ,but, because of how dangeous the world is , \you know there bad people that use children and old person to call the attention to stop. Now people know that, so, We are scared of our lives being in dangeous. The only thing we can do if we want to help is call the police and tell them about that person on the road. If that was me , i will apreciate that.

I think that many people are reluctant to stop to help...even if they see a woman and children....because of all the crime in the world today. It is indeed a sad day when people are afraid to stop and help their fellow man due to the fact that there are so many people out there that seek to harm others.

I have had a puncture on my car's tyre at night time ,that too on a road that didnt have much street lights.Fortunately someone who was walking by that way asked whether we need help and he changed the tyre.I too dont know how to change the tyre. And i dont think it is a nice idea to ask for help from the vehicles passing by,because who would want to help others by stopping their vehicle?

I see a lot of things like that happening. To be honest, I don't know how to change a flat tire so I will be not much of a help if I see you on the road but if I am not in a hurry, I will probably call my boyfriend to help or something. I agree with you though. There were like a time when it was given that people should stop to help people that are in need. For some reason, people are just so unattached.
