Make Money thru politics... your thoughts?

I work as a elections inspector every election or primary. You make a few bucks and it is a whole lot of fun.
There are other ways to make money in the political season - - some place you can get paid for registering people to vote or other jobs where you get out and help with events.
Have you ever done any of these? Do they sound like fun?

I "worked" in a polling place during elections in my district several times : it is not paid, but a nice way to meet neighbors
