This unlucky day :-(

After marriage, my husband and I already live on our own. So almost all of the times we are together. During lunch we also eat together for if I will have lunch at the office, he will be alone eating his meals at home. So, during noonbreak he will fetch me and go directly home for lunch, particularly today. On our way home while riding in a motorcycle in just an average speed, a big dog suddenly crossed the road, the dog ran so fast like it was afraid of something and accidentally, we run over it. The dog died on the spot. I stood and checked my bruises in both left arm and leg. I got 4 large bruises and two small ones. Hubby had two big bruises and two small but there's a little swelling on the part of his forehead. We then brought ourselves to the hospital and had painful dressing and anti-tetanus injection. We will go to the big city tomorrow for a CT scan.

Hello maharlikah, Sorry for you, hubby and the dog.Hope you get weel soon. Why CT scan is required? Is there any head injury except for little swelling your hubby had? I think there is no need for it but better get it confirmed if everything is well or not. I also had the similar accident 2 years back when i was going on a bike with my younger brother and he was driving suddenly a dog came out from the street and started barking and running behind us, me and my brother were scared so he speeded up the bike and what we saw another dog came out from the front barking and running towards us and OMG we hit that dog and fell down. That dog was safe and ran away seeing us falling. We both were badly hurt and went to the nearby doctor for the first aid. From then i particularly remain concious from dogs in the street.

hi maharlikah oh my how frightening and running over a dog too,it must have been both physically painful for you both but also emotionally painful thinking of the poor dog.Yes you were wise to get checked out and get tetanus shots. And do go and get the ct scan to to be on the safe side. I do hope you will soon recover from your wounds and have a safe day at work and at home. hugs from hatley.

You know from that incident we are already very cautious of stray dogs. If we need to stop or slow down in the midst of hurrying we'll do. Just being very careful.
