Lately i have been asleep to much. normally 6-7 hours of sleep suffice my tired body after work or play, but lately I sleep like 12-10am and it is sad because i am supposed to a lot more time working on my online sidelines but can't because of my sleepy headedness, and I worry because if this goes on I may loose my earning in my online jobs and cost me to be short cashed at each turn of the month, so do you guys have any suggestion. And believe me when I say if my building burnt down, I will be smoked because of my heavy sleeping lately...

Sleep is good for the body but too much indicates you may have some sort of sleeping disorder or problem. Search methods to cure this obsessive sleeping pattern you have so you can hopefully begin to regulate your sleep better! Don't approach the past few nights as a sleeping disorder if you've actually been really tired and exhausted lately or you haven't been catching up on sleep! Sometimes the body, catches up for itself!

Yeah latley ive been trying to regulate my sleep and your right I am just terribly exhausted from work and my other activities but anyway I still would just like to set myself atleast 5-6 hours of straight and a 1 hour power nap a day since I have tons of things to do in a days and 24 hours doesn't really cut it for me but, time management is the key I guess.

Often times a change in our sleep pattern is a result of another change in our life. Even if we are not in a full blown depression or anything that serious a simple change can throw our bodies out of wack. This can be a change in class or work schedules, a friend or family member moving away, a new relationship or a loss of an old one and so many other things really anything that effects our daily routine. The key to breaking this new bad habit is to create a new one. It will be difficult but set yourself a schedule and force yourself no matter how tired to stick to it for the next 21 days and will become habit. If after 3 weeks of sticking to this new schedule you are still feeling the effects of extreme fatigue you need to consult your physician as this can be a symptom of a more serious medical condition.

Good suggestion I haven't heard anything like that before this is like a check-up to a physician with very specific instruction but any way it's worth a shot and if I am still feeling queezy or weak after this then a quick visit to the doctor is what I need, thanks.

I'd say that if your body needs more rest, you should rest. just a couple of weeks ago, i pushed my self to work even though i need more rest so i ended up unable to work for several days because i got sick. even we are used to certain schedule, there are times we need more rest to recharge.

Your case is pretty typical with some that are workaholic most of the them do work more than there body could handle and eventually lead to stressing there body's out causing for more delay of the job so I think your right it is important to rest the body when it craves for it.

Hello! In fact in adults, sleep time at 6 to 7 hours is the best. Sleep too much ,or too little sleep,is bad. I slept 6 hours, I feel my health is very good. At ordinary times, more exercises. Happy every day!

I find that i also gets lot of sleep lately, but the difference is that,i always dreaming in my sleepness which would absolutely affect the quality of sleepness.I usually sleep for about 7 hours, which is the normal time that we should take. But anyway, enough sleep would be good for our health. So i think maybe your heavy sleep wouldn't be bad thing.Have a nice day.

If you come to think about it a sleep without a dream is kinda empty right, sleep tends to end much faster than it should normally feel since if you have a dream there is somewhat a sense of time but that s just for me so in my case I always dream if a I haven't dreamt of anything I feel like I only slept for less than the time that it really took s for me it is very important that I dream. So sleep plus + dream for me is equals to good quality sleep (unless it is a nightmare off course).

i got this problem before. Every time i sleep, it will be about 9 - 10 hours. But, i ask someone to wake me up when i have sleep for 5 hours. First time is the hardest. But, step by step i will be used. Try to set your alarm, it will help you also.

Oh wow that's dedication but it is a neat trick to have someone to help you out in this matter unlike for me I leave alone so no support there I can try to ask my girlfriend about it though so thanks Great Idea. Plus off course the ever handy dandy alarm clock is very helpful too...

Hello again deodavid! Are you wearing glasses? Maybe poor eyesight is what causing your headaches. Before I had my glasses, I also experience nauseousness. Also, try eating more fruits everyday. I noticed that when I eat at least one fruit each day, my resistance from sleep gets stronger. Coffee is another good drink but too much of it can leave you acidic. Just like what happened to me unfortunately. :( Finally, I suggest that you take daily multivitamins especially ones with vitamin c and iron :) Being sleepy all the time has something to do with iron deficiency so there. Good morning!

I guess this is normal since you've been staring at your computer for long then your eyes are also stressed and deserved to relax. I understand the money you will be loosing with too much sleep but you also need to take care of your eyes and your health since it helps you keep earning and going.
