I have had a very very scary thought. What if OWS grew larger and Obama called military rule? This could answer a lot of the weird things going on.

The hate group known as The Occupy Movement will continue to get more violent and more deadly. It's growing into what it was intended to be.

OWS is "Occupy Wall Street" Pretty much protesters who are protesting something. No one really knows what they are protesting. Not even the some of the protesters know what they are protesting. Ask what they are protesting and you get every answer across the board. So far the major accomplishments have been getting rid of the BOA debit fee proposed. Unfortunately, it had an unintended consequence. BOA is now charging a set fee on all accounts. No waivers from what their TOS says. Next major accomplishment was making cities pay more for clean-up of dangerous camps and keeping people from being run over by cars. Some here are sympathetic to the cause, whatever it is. No one really denies their right to free speech. It is just that the whole movement appears to be a fad (for lack of a better word).

I'm curious! Is it violent? Have they crippled business in any way? Usually these movements seek to cover the interest of a selected few. Who stands to benefit from this OWS movement?

I am all for people power but I feel something else is going on it's not as good it seems I just can't figure out what exactly and why I feel this way but thanks to you, Taskr and Sierra I think I am on the right track I believe any power, especially people power, is good when used for good intention and evil when used for evil intention the thing is with the economy situation all over the world it's easy to manipulate hungry and upset people that are unemployed to do anything as they have too much time on their hands to do it I've heard people saying the protests were peaceful until police interfered well they are doing their job, just like regular people trying to make a living and keep their job to pay the bills and small medium businesses trying to survive so they can keep employees paid so really, the only ones hurt here are hardly the 1 % over here the protests are mild, which is great, at least from what I heard they don't trash private properties etc so I hope such interference will not be required ever

As long as Georgie Soros keeps paying these losers to 'protest', I guess they'll be sticking around, lol. Big money is bankrolling these cretins, because they have sophisticated tv equipment, according to Glenn Beck. Go to the Blaze.com to see it. They'll probably raise hell at the Republican convention as well. Sooner or later these losers will do something so bad nobody will have anything to do with them. It's only a matter of time. And to the person who claims that lies about this is coming from the 'right wing' media-what right wing media, lol? You dolts have the yellow journalism that's going on right now, and have 'control' of it. Talk about being delusional, lol, lol!!!!

How did George Soros make 3 biilion dollars on a down turn of the economy? His wealth grew by 60%. This make one wonder big on what is he doing. He got most of his money in the first place by bankrupting the Bank of England and stealing its money. What is he doing now. I.e. he owns a large part of the Brizilian oil company, the same one Nobama gave a lot of money to, and promised to buy oil from. Any connections?

Obama has publicly supported the movement. He's probably hoping all the media coverage on the movement will distract people from the scandals going on connected to the White House. There seem to be some people in this country who think that the right to free speech means the right to break city laws against sleeping in parks. If this were a tea party group doing this they would have been kicked out a long time ago. But the tea party realizes that free speech doesn't need to sleep in parks to get a point across. To insist on occupying and disrupting businesses simply proves the point they don't really have much to say in words, which actually do constitute speech. They should be studying American history and the Constitution so they can learn the real way to change things in America. And then they might have the sense to take their protest to the White House and the Capitol -- not Wall Street.

That would prove that he is truly a Dictator. And if he does not do so, it would prove that he is in league with them and they are doing his bidding, turning America into a Communist or FAcist state, starting a class war, etc. Both are just as dangerous.

Iam afraid that Obama is acting more like a dictator and am afraid that at the next election, those who want him out will have a big fight on their hands and he will use all methods legal and illegal to stay in power. And thanks for the best response.

Military Rule? The US is already there. They are voting on a bill that will give the president the ability to use the military to "arrest" anyone in the US, and anywhere else for that matter. That means that if they don't like something that you say on the internet, they can use the military to come and take you away without warrant or just cause. If that's not scary enough, they will also be using their new toys, the Drones, to fly over and monitor anywhere in the US that they see fit. Now, they won't be armed with the missiles....yet, but talk about an invasion of privacy. They feel that the US is considered a "battlefield" of sorts and willing to go against anybody that shows any type of political resistance....looking at those people as "Terrorists". The economic decay, monetary crisis and Elitist control, consistent fighting that the US is involved, suppression of alternative energy sources and medical enhancements, mixed with the blackouts of main stream media (not RT.com, as they will report the truth) and the game of political/military chess that they are playing with Iran, Pakistan, Russia, China that could quickly escalate into another World War, is definitely reason enough for, not only the US citizens but, everyone that is included in the "99%"....(yes, this most likely includes you!)to act now! People are worried about the future of humanity. Those that are awake to what is really happening on this planet have had enough and want change NOW!!! Yes, there are always going to be those few that feel they know more than the rest of the protestor and will cause destruction and instigate violence, but as a collective, the Occupy Movement can become an unstoppable train hell-bent on a whole government rewrite. This change isn't only with Occupiers, there is another group of computer geniuses called Anonymous. They support the Occupy Movement and are doing some crazy things through cyber-warfare. Change needs to happen soon, as our planet is dying because of an infestation of humans, and humans are dying because of the way our "systems" are set up.
