Our political leaders will suffer if we really do so.

Our political leaders always make a plea to us to raise our voice against all kinds of irregularities in the society. But they probably forget one thing that if people really do so, they will be the first and foremost sufferers as they are mostly responsible, directly or indirectly, for all the present irregularities we are accustomed to see in the society. Do you agree with me?

Yea I totally agree with you, political leaders are so corrupted that if we do anything against them they all will blame opposite to us. This is just with us. I don't why they want so much money, just for small needs they talk in millions and billions.

Yes, our political leaders are so corrupted that if we raise our voice against corruption they would be the first ones to be confined behind the bar. So I think they make an appeal to the people to do so just for their own publicity and to make political gain from it but do not actually want any real fight against corruption.

The main problem that we see in the world today is the fact that the political leaders are corrupt. They make promises to the ordinary people of society but they never fulfill those promises because of the allure of money that is tossed around by the corporations and such.
Then, a movement for change, such as the Occupy Movement that is currently going on in the United States, will start and all that the leaders want is for it to go away.
So, by encouraging people to speak their minds, the politicians really are hurting themselves.

This morning I was watching a television program about how people acquired rights to lands that purportedly belong to government. I think it is sad. Many people have invested their hard earned monies. I would get hold of all the ministers who were involved in that period, and government employees of that era, take away their pensions, and assets and distribute it amongst those who acquired the rights wrongly. As things stand, only the innocent is getting punished. Raising voice? Have you ever tried that? It is a tough call. Lavasa case. Bigwigs like Medha Patkar participated in that. What happened? Court gave verdict against such whistleblowers.

Definitely, whatever policy the political leaders make, it will affect the people. They should have think it through before even tabling it. However, if they are willing to listen, admit to mistake made from flawed policy and take actions to correct it, then I think the people should just do it.

yes i agree with you partly.we really can't blame anyone.we don't know who is to blame for all of this.and also,it is not the high time to play the blame game.each and everyone must work together for the attainment of a common goal.too sad it is impossible.

To be honest I seldom hear one of our politician say that.. except perhaps 1 party that came because of these voices. So the other way round.
A political leader will seldom ask to raise your voice, esp. not if he/she is in charge. From that moment on they are not interested anymore in you or what they promissed. And we? The people? We know.. we hope for better but we know that no matter what we say or who we choose nothing will change in 4 years (or longer) time.

many politician misuse the authority they have. they often break the law for their own benefit and never be blamed. but laymen are blamed when break the law. that is not fair and making jealousy. i am so regret such thing happend in my country almost everyday.
