Preferred Seating

Hi Missy, when i was at my old home, i do have a favorite spot, where i preferred to sit there, to do my matters. My favorite spot is, nearby to my computer table. I like to sit there, to do my reading, or even watch my favorite TV programs. Since now, i am moving to another new place, i haven't have any favorite spot yet. I think i will need more time, to find another favorite spot in my this new place.

LOL, love the topic. I have my special spot which is on the right side of our couch. We have 2 couches as the room is very long. I like the one with the softer cushions. When I leave the room to go up on the computer, I will find my husband sitting in my spot. He moves over to where the remote control is for the TV. But, I really think it is much more comfortable for him too. Your not silly, I think a lot of us have a certain spot we like to sit. When the kids were still at home we all had out own spots at the kitchen table too. Have a nice evening Missy.

I have a beautiful lounge suite that is not very old in terms of use but the lounge itself is broken and the arm chairs need to be re-done because you sink into them and have trouble getting out. It was expensive but shoddily made. I have some old dining chairs that look nice and are comfy but my new ones are terrible, they keep breaking and they are very uncomfortable to sit on. I sit at the table in an old second hand office chair I bought. It's very comfy and relatively easy to get out of. I can eat my meals, use my laptop and watch TV all from this chair (all at the same time too)...happiness is my office chair.

I have 2 preferred seats at home there is spot #1 which is the right corner of my overstuffed couch then there is spot #2 which is my oversized chair I feel weird if anybody is in my 2 spots and I have to sit elsewhere

I don't like my couch it is so old and needs to go but sometimes I would love to sit there and I have slept there for a few hours. I just wish I had a new one! Then it woupd be my favorite spot!

I remember my daughter when she was still in preschool, she have a favorite chair to sit on in their classroom and she would cry if she don't have it. So she have to be early in the class to get her favorite chair. She outgrown the idea of having a favorite chair, and now knows that they have a new sitting arrrangement every grading. But with regards to a sitting arrangement in the dinner table, yes, we have it. I am sitted on the place where I could easily stand up and get another serving of rice or dish. My older daughter is sitted near the refrigerator because she is in charge of refilling the drinks.

I do not really have a preferred spot. It just depends on what I am doing while seated. I am at a table in my living room right now. I do not watch television much. If I were upstairs I would be in an chair with a computer stand in front of me. I like to nap in the recliner, or on the sofa.

Hello missy bear. I actually don't have a particular place at the moment as I am still living with my parents. I think maybe the favorite place to sit and watch movies on the pc is my girlfriend's bed at her grandmother. P.S.: You made me think about Sheldon's spot in Big Bang Theory

I do too...lol. It is on a certain end of the couch. It is just perfect because I have a preferred view of the TV and the table is just the right distance from where I am sitting. I can also take my laptop over there if I want and be pretty comfy.

No favorite spot at home. But I am normally sitting in the kitchen chair or in my bed. Our couch is a bit old and we are still waiting for all house construction done on our living room part before we purchase a new one. By that time I might have a new favorite spot on a new couch.

Id love sitting on a rocking chair at the living room while watchinh television..and sometimes i often wake up on rocking chair, maybe i was bored with television show and i had a nap over my rocking chair..lol
