Viva Las Vegas!

What term do you or your family and friends use as a funny way of saying there are too many lights on in the house? One friend's family say "Viva Las Vegas", another's say "Blackpool Illuminations" or "Is it Diwali already?" My mother used to say "Brock's Benefit" although that originally came from either a firework display or slang for a bombardment in World War I. Brock was the manufacturer of fireworks so a big display made him a lot of money. Do you know any terms like that?

I Like the Viva Las Vegas usage. I don't know of anything that is said except to bring up in our family meetings and such. I may start using that term to tell them when they are on. Good idea.

nice to hear a different version, well my husband literally shouts at any one who leaves the light on no matter dad or mom, niece or nephew, wife or son. it is working though

It was great when I was a child, but now, I get bored with LV. The problem with LV, if you don't have any money, it can really suck to be there, and many of those casinos will take all of your money.
