Is it fair and justify

Today I read news in newspaper. Men and women Kabbadi teams of India won World cup. Women team when reached Ludhiana no one came to receive them and after waiting for some time on road team went in autorikshwa. In Picture they have world cup in their hands. Second thing the prize for men team is 2 crore but for women team it is only 25 lakhs. Is it fair?

Hi anil, that is so pitiable and also shows two things ! One that Indians, mainly the sports officials give importance only to those games that bring in revenue like cricket and tennis , and may be golf to a certain extent - so it is all about money and clout!
The second aspect is the status women have in our society, they re never given equality in any sphere of life unless they come from powerful backgrounds, like Sonia Gandhi who is able to do what she wants right or wrong just because she is connected to the most powerful family in India...sad but true!

Hello Kiran ji, I am agree with you that official give the importance to game which bring revenue. But officials of Kabbadi board is associated with this game. So it is their duty to give importance to the players who won world cup. Second thing when both men and women won world cup that 8 time difference in prize money.
