just for fun- it is quite scary what some kids do these days just to play and have fun. They threw rocks at our roofs using "tirador" or slingshot. It scared me a bit but I was more angry than scared- it infuriated my mom and she went out to scold them but still they did it the following days.. And other times they just broke bottles by throwing them at our gate. People should really discipline their children well before they grow up to be violent people.

but it really is frightening how can any child. Do they have any education or they are simply left to the liberty and their parents do not know-. I think you should tell their parents about this because if you act your silence will remain so. but it is not very pleasant. Yet nowadays, nothing surprises me this was our life. nice day!

i don't think they are in school since they play outside when it is still time fr school- I know some of their parents and they aren't really good role models and just let their kids do anything.

I agree! Children from our neighborhood also throw rocks at our house, breaking our one of our windows. And when someone goes out to see who did it, those children already hid, that's why you really couldn't just pinpoint somebody. Some parents really don't even mind if their children are doing nasty things. Yes, they really need to discipline and teach their kids to do right. Cheers!

Oh wow! They broke your window? You should send a complaint letter and have someone look into that. It's really stupid what they think is 'fun' because we have to pay for the damages.

That is really not good. I had some incidents with some stones falling on our roof but It was more of accidental since this were from slingshot that children usually use to shot some birds and in some cases they fall on our roof. I could clearly see that there was on intention. But I do go out and usually tell them to stop shooting birds since I do love birds and I hate people harming those small little things.

I'm really sorry to hear about this. It can be really scary when this happens. You have every right to be scared and such. It's not the sort of situation that you want to experience or anything like that. I don't understand why someone would do this sort of thing. It's not the sort of thing that you should do.

It is so sad how it seems like there are so few kind kids these days and all of them want to be little snots that think they are some hot stuff. Really I think this world needs a reality check. You should have been able to say stop once and then it would be over and they would not be back. No, these days no one can take direction and go with it. Always fighting back.

That's really scary and very disrespectful. I think the kids won't stop until you guys put a stop to it, you can find out who their parents are and go talk to them about their kids throwing stuff at your house, if the parents don't do anything about it you should call the cops. That's really rude, and i love kids but that should really stop! I understand your mother angryness, i would of been mad too!

Its not like when I was young and had a broomstick for a horse and played outside all day. I would be angry too. I had a neighbor shoot the back window out of my car two different times. I had to go around with a plastic over it because I knew if I put a new glass in they would just shoot out again. I don't why I was chosen. And I couldn't prove who did although I did have my suspicions. Alot kids now days have no upbringing. Families used to be multi-generatioal and now the majority are single parents. Working and trying to raise them. It is tough but still there is no reason for children to be raised with no character, manners, etc.

It's really sad that children are becoming undisciplined nowadays. Sometimes I wonder if it's only the parents that are to blame 'cause I strongly feel that television, movies, tabloid reporting, and even the internet are also partly to blame. I mean, parents can only do so much in disciplining their children. Hope you're family's okay. Are you planning to report the incident?

Careful, sometimes it's a tactic used by thieves (usually minors) to test if there is somebody inside the house before they make a break-in, they usually use children because they cannot be made liable for anything under one of our laws which BTW is now being debated because it needs amending, God bless and stay safe always

i still remember when my group of friends when were were grade 3 before early years, we used to throw stones at all of our neighbor houses and including mine too, being that age is a very naughty and needs discipline from parents, the reason why our parents got angry to us and hit our legs with broomstick so that we will not do it again.... and it is effective, we didn't do it again....

That's what's happening here, too! Kids playing outside plays with rocks throwing it on our roof. They were also going up on our roof which is really very dangerous. Our dogs are really angry at those kids. So my grandma will go out and tell this kids not to play there. Good thing is that they will listen and move a bit farther. But the next day or week, there they come again Their parents really never care at all when there kids go out and play. They should at least check once in a while whether their kids are safe or disturbing someone. I have a bad experience to in another country. Those kids were much worst than our kids here. We parked our car near a Mall and had a little chat before deciding to go out of the car. These kids scare me when all of sudden they were in the windshield and as if threatening us.. We just drove away, we are in a different and strict country so I guess it's better to just ignore them unlike the kids in our country where we can tell them to move and they'll listen.
