So what last minute item for Thanksgiving have you forgotten and thus scrambling to find a store open to get it? I work for a grocery store, as a lot of you know, and thus will be there for a few hours today until we close, and a little bit afterwards. We will be ringing up some cranberry sauce, yeast rolls, I'm sure. I am sure there are a few that will just do their regular shopping, and maybe one or two who are just getting their turkey day stuff today, maybe a few picking up some turkeys today to freeze for later in the year.
So do you have everything you need?
Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, I was actually surprised this year because I will have to make no special trips to the store! I got everything I needed a couple of days ago at the well loved Walmart of all places. Hey at least I got it right? lol Usually I will always forget something and go racing to get it because we leave at about 10:30 to go to our Thanksgiving get together that is about an hour away. This year we may actually get out of the door on time! Happy Thanksgiving to you, hope you did not work to hard today!

Actually, I just got in about 15 minutes ago from our celebration. Had some amazing food at lunch, just had some left overs for dinner and it was REALLY good. It always makes me laugh how sometimes food will taste better as left overs. Well, maybe it is just me that thinks that. Any way, hope today went ok for you!

Well i can understand that, better as left overs. Maybe not so much better, but.. better lol.
Yes my day was fine, I had a short shift at work, and then went to spend time with family! Now at home relaxing.

I had forgotten the rolls so had to go get that and more milk. Funny how much milk we use on Turkey day.
The cranberry sauce and sweet pickles I got before. Sure smells good. I am so ready to eat. Soon we will set down and have all the trimmings. It's too warm in here. Whoo!

We always seem to forget the dinner rolls. either we forget to buy them or we buy them and put them away for Thanksgiving and then forget to make them. I always try to get everything before Thanksgiving to avoid the stores because I know they are busy and the ones who are working want to get home and be with their families.

Our were not very very busy but yes we did want to get home to get to our families. People were still coming up even though we were closed! It was crazy!
Well I think rolls are one of the most forgotten things, either that or the cranberry sauce, either forgotten or not having enough! I hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday!
