I think it is important to check and see if the prices are really that good on Amazon. I am a big fan of the site but I would still check elsewhere to be assured that I am getting the most bang for my buck. I always buy my books and vitamins from Amazon. I have checked around and they have good proces.

hmmmm...I just look now on the option "today's deals" and I find 120 pages of products that are with lowered prices.
To tell you the truth , I don't think it's so cheap because I see many products that I can buy in my country for the same price even with no discount. Maybe it's not the same manufacturer but still , it will be good. for example , GPS I can find in my country for 600 israeli new shequels and the rate today is 3.776 new israeli shequels for 1$ . it comes out that the GPS costs almost 160$ , and it is more or less the price on amazon...
I can only say generally that everyone has to be familiar with the prices of many things all the time to tell if he found a really good oportunity or maybe its expansive. I am not a user of amazon but I would like to know about amazon more infornation.

I also think that the popular manufacturers sell their products for a high price when it's without a discount. So , when they make a discount , their price become more or less normal like the same prices of products that are not from a popular manufacturer.
Making the black friday event can encourage people to buy things they don't really need so this whole event attitude is nothing but a public relations.
If you search everyday for a good product and with a low price , you will find it , but it takes time and a lot of search. Everyday is like a mini event somewhere , you just have to search.

Black Friday is tomorrow for us, but I absolutely love Amazon. I have a few things I'm eyeing on there for gifts to my parents and boyfriend. I'm hoping the prices drop a good deal tomorrow so I can purchase them!
I'm looking at a couple books, maybe a video game or two and a computer program.

I've bought almost anything on amazon, test strips for my glucose meter, christmas presents, toys, clothes, shoes, books(textbooks), tv's, video games, covers for my Iphone. Like I said everything, I also know people who buy their kids diapers and baby food from there. I love amazon, I check there first before buying anywhere else.

Last year I got the PS3, nerf case for Nintendo DSi, legos and more. This year unfortunately I wasn't able to buy anything because I was working all day and wasn't able to keep track of it. But amazon usually has some very good deals every day and with the no tax no shipping price you can beat that.

I use amazon.ca because I live in Canada. I really don't use Amazon for anything except for books, VD's and DVDs. They don't have the selection of other items they do in the States, but I might just check them out this year. I have some coupons from them that ineed to use.
