waiting can be hard when you have set an appointment

i do have an appointment to see my friend but not a close friend at all. i was too early because i don't want to be late. to pass time i need to do something while waiting. so i just decided to go to the internet shop. and so i can just look out through the door or window cause that is where we would meet. or my friend can just look around on the shop as i said i may just be waiting inside if i got too early. so i was about 3 hours early. and i thought it would be fun to use the net that long. but it is not that enjoyable actually. i need to do a lot of things while waiting. hope that my friend would get here on exact time so i won't wait any longer.

3 hours early wow. I would feel terrible if you waited 3 hourse for me I hope your friend comes exactly on time. I guess the best thing to do while killing all that time would be to surf the web. I really dont know what else you can really do for 3 hours waiting you can make lots of phone calls and catch up with people you need to catch up with. Thats the best suggestion I have actually thats what I do when im waiting for someone.

Three hours early is too long, half an hour is just right. Maybe you could also window shop or sip coffee in coffee shops. It is also fun watching people passing by if ever you ran out of things to do. Good luck!

You waited for 3 hours but i just can't wait for 15 minutes too as i hate waiting for someone.
You could have phoned him/her to ask where he/she is and could do some other pending works too
meanwhile if you know it prior that there will be a delay of 3 hours.I always talk to the person before i leave home when i have to meet someone so that no one could wait for each other.

Really it is very horrible. Even though you are in net you can't concentrate in it, your mind is searching the friends arrival. We all have such incidents in life, I think we don't make the others to wait a lot 5 to 10 minutes is ok after that if we can't reach we better tell them the reason why it happens. Now a days mobile phone help a lot in this case.
