The women in my family suffer from irregular periods. I have noticed that if I am bleeding heavily, drinking raspberry tea helps me. I've got to get another box soon i am sure, as I drink atleast one cup a day, but sometimes two. I've skipped some days and noticed that it's effected that.
It tightens / makes the uterus contract and that helps with the heavy bleeding. Peppermint Tea is supposed to help with cramps, but it's also a relaxing herb(?) not sure you can call it a herb but you know what I mean.
A long with listening to relaxing music, I am thinking this will help immensely and I won't have to go with birth control or other un natural ways that do more harm then good.
I've tried vitex in the past and that hasn't helped.
Right now I am about to enjoy a cup of peppermint tea and am listening to music to relax me.
Who else has tried this and has it worked for them?

I drink alot of cranberry juice and I love raspberries. They have alot more going for them than just fruit. My grandmother used to brew peppermint tea for me when i had a tummy ache. Camomile is good for relaxing too. I always had a heavy flow and alot of cramps. Though I have heard it is just a ole wive's tale after my first and only birth my periods were as heavy or as painful. I also learned from my mother a yoga stanse that helps with cramping.

I never heard of raspberry tea helping with the bleeding. That is something I will have to try. I know that teas are good for many different things. I think I read that camomile tea is good for aches too. As a matter of fact I have had a headache for most of the day so I think I will go make myself some tea right now and see if it helps.

Progesterone cream..they sell it in the health food shops. That and milk. She said to drink milk and rub a little cream on my tummy.
