Mylot and Cooking

have you ever tried cooking while posting at mylot or posting at mylot while cooking??? Oopss is it just the same?
I have done this several times, I want to multitask especially in the morning when I have to cook breakfast so my son would have something to eat in the morning but I also want to maximize the time in the morning when the internet speed is faster compared during the day. So, I just simply cook while posting at mylot. I can easily do this especially if I am waiting for something to boil or I am waiting for the meat to be tender. There are times that I would be so serious with the typing that I would forget that I have food at the stove and the result burned food but this would just happen when I am cooking rice. Timing is the secret. i would just check the stove from time to time so it would not happen again.
have you every done that? What's your story?

As long as I do not make mistakes, cooking is finished on time, and all my husband needs finish on time, my husband did not protest. I more often logged MyLot, when my husband was asleep, or was not there at home. If my husband was home, I dare to login if all my work done.

I do this many times ,while iam cooking im thinking about what i need to ppost,and if i have topics come in ,i go my lot and post it and then back to cook

haha, i have done it as well but luckily i'm only cooking maggi.. lol By time i finished my cooking and part of mylot, my soup based maggi becomes almost dried as everything has evaporated or being absorbed into the noodles.. haha :D Other than that, i've always tried making a toast while i'm mylotting but i pay more attention to the bread instead because if the toaster explodes, that's the end of my house.. lol

i have done this a lot of times too. in almost 5 years of being here, i have been doing multitasking. i mylot even when i am watching tv, or while in the office doing my regular tasks.

I have done this several times with bad results. The kitchen is downstairs and my computer (not a laptop) is upstairs. I run down when I smell that something is burning
. I have learned to eat burned cooked potatoes, but some food you just have to throw away. So I try not to get too involved.

Yes,I can do multitasking.
I bring my laptop at the terrace while I can do the laundry.
I bring it to my kitchen table where I can cook.
Good thing for having a router inside home, I can do mylotting whenever I got the chance even doing some household chores.

Oh yes, i have done that yesterday. I had my laptop at our sala, by the kitchen. While i wait for the meat to tenderize, i do Mylot. from time to time i would check it, if it is done.
How's that for multitasking.

I sometimes do mylotting on my phone when I'm cooking coz i seriously don't like to wait. But honestly, mylotting on laptop is a lot better than on my smart phone. I have to keep sliding and dragging all the time..

Hello! What I do most is doing laundry while doing myLot. hehe. Since the washer is timed, I have more time here reading and participating in discussions.I am glad that I hadn't burned any dishes yet,hehe.

yes, i do a lot of multitasking while doing mylot at the same time.
not only cooking but i also entertain text messages, calls- sometimes i write(texting)or say my post to the person i am talking to.
i would also watch our store when i do mylotting in the afternoon. when my mom would be out to do some grocery.
i would be mylotting too while i upload pictures for my online shop and i do mylotting too when i would be preparing myself a soup for breakfast or anything for a snack.

my freind i have tried twice or thrice to post while cooking but most of time i am usually free so i can concentrate mostly on typing and thinking about the topic......

... oh I can't do that! My husband will scold me *lol... he wants my full attention in what I'm doing... I remember, it happened once... I'm cooking at the same time browsing the net.. it ends up that he finished the cooking and told me that if I want to browse the net... after I cooked! and if I will cook... I should finished it before doing something in the pc.
I'm just taking advantage browsing the net if I finished all my routines at home and my kids were on rest or watching cartoons.
Browsing the net calms me *lol but... there's time for me for that.

I do some things while in Mylot,awhile ago I cooked pancit canton for snack will Mylotting.Now,I do watch movie while responding in discussions.
