How about a facebook page for mylot?

I searched at facebook if mylot have a facebook page. I noticed two pages for it, one with 200 likes and the other with 75 likes. I don't think these pages are run by mylot admin themselves. I think they were just started by members of mylot. Do you think it would be nice if mylot would have its own facebook page? But this time, it would be run by a mylot admin itself. I know other sites who have their own facebook page and it makes them popular and other updates are also posted there. so, what do you think?

I don't think that's necessary.Mylot will do good even without it.

U are right, there are indeed mylot pages in facebook and i used to be part of that group.. haha I left after 6-7 months or maybe a year later because it's boring. There are only updates from members stating they have started new discussions and reminding other members to respond to them. WHile some posted regarding mylot payments where everything can be found in mylot itself. That mylot group is actually redundant.

I think that is a very good idea also. I have seen other websites on there too and the admin update us there and respond to us.

Personally I don't like Facebook. I use it to keep track of a few friends and family, but I don't really do anything other than that. Occasionally I will "Like" a business if I get something out of it like a free sample or food.

It would be great for MyLot, many people would start to know the site and maybe join it, for us maybe it is not so good because people certainty would start to join a lot more through Facebook than from our referral link. And i think MyLot works like a social page, where you can make friends and share ideas (of course here we haven't all the resources that facebook has) but if the idea of MyLot is in the future become a social media website, there is not point in open a facebook account.

Some people might disagree, Why? This because referral link become useless, everyone can easily join with this site without referrer.

I think that was not necessary, most people here don't like to reveal their real identity and doesn't want to bug by other members too.

If myLot creates and maintain's a decent Facebook page, there is a possibility that we can increase the popularity and membership of this growing PTP! With this addition, there will be a chance of more discussions and more users to reply openly to them therefore there will be more opinions and criticism! It's surely a positive for this already great site!

I don't think if this idea is good. We can't have referrals through that because everyone can join here easily. For me, I don't want to have an official page of mylot on facebook. I know we don't want other people to see our true identity.

Not really sure if that is a good idea. People would have less referrals if that would happen. I'm not saying that we should keep Mylot to ourselves, but we should think thoroughly before we rush into something like that. It could be very disadvantages for some people.
