What thoughts come to mind when you hear the name Handsome?
Would you name your son Handsome? Why or why not.
Im asking because my sister was recently going to name her new baby Handsome. Luckily, the name didn't sit well -- so my nephew was saved!! lol.

Handsome is definately not a name. It discribes someone. Besides I beleive he would be picked on in school with a name like that. Especially if God forbid he turned out to be not so good looking.

mmmm...my first thouth when i hear handsome woudl be liek cute..or adorable..but handsome,,like when u say beatiful is nicer then just pretty...i dont htink i would name my son that but it would def be differnt

I, personally, would not name a kid Handsome. It's just as bad as naming a kid Rain. Especially when it's a boy! Handsome is an adjective and rain is a noun. Let's leave it at that. They do not make good names! But that's just my opinion...

Well, I can understand parents' desire to have a handsome child, so I think your sister wanted to name her new baby "Handsome" hoping that this name was of good omen. Yes, I think it's better that she changed this name because babies deserve more beautiful and interesting names.
