If you could invent something, what would it be?

Lately, I have so many things to do that I wish I have a time turner similar to Hermione Granger (in Harry Potter) owns. If I could invent something like that then I would surely accomplish a lot of things.
If I could also invent a mood shifter so that I could shift my mood from being lazy to being hardworking or from being worried to being calm, then that would be nice.
And in case I have colds and having runny nose, I want to invent an invisible nose insert that would prevent me from sniveling (at least until the medicine takes into effect).
I have seen a lot of interesting inventions in Discovery Channel (or was it National Geographic?) like, for example, a jacket that could make you cool when you feel hot and vice versa.
How about you? What would you invent?

I would invent true love ... wait what thats already invented ?! really where can i buy it :P
But anyway back to the topic , i think i will invent bread that can stuff you just by biting it . Really will be helpful to have one of those in poor family or some of the african cultures .
But well enough of my cherity lets try something more ... selfish .
I might invent a flash drive for the brain . So if you are hurt transfer your feeling on it and delete them from your brain , that will help for now .
Other thing will be the copy macheen that makes a perfect copy of you for 24 hours that dissapire in thin air , and you can make him do all the stuff you want , damn i'm selfish and lazy :D

You're so right, there are so many things that need doing, and not enough time to do them.
I would like to have a machine which extends a tube down from the ceiling so I can suck ice cream when I'm in bed. An option for different flavors would be good too. As many different flavors as possible, selected by a remote control that also operates the TV.
When I'm not enjoying ice cream in bed, I need a deflector shield to avoid impacts with random rocks and dust when I travel near light speed at the apex of my trajectory to Mars using my reactionless inertial drive and spacetime rectifying power plant.
Without the deflector shield, any impact, no matter how trivial, would be deadly. Until the defelctor shield is operational, the Mars mission is a no-go.

Hi dodoguy! The deflector shield would be very useful once Mars becomes the new Earth (which is not far from happening if humans continue to destroy the environment).
Well, I don't know about the ice cream suction thing. WOuldn't it turn the ice cream to milkshake?

Hi Olleenz! We both have those too (Traffic jame and flooding). If I could invent a DISCIPLINE pill, I would. These problems can be avoided if only people have discipline not to destroy the environment and discipline to follow the rules on traffic.

The mood shifter sounds like great idea.
The cooling jacket sounds wierd.I know many people will look at me when I wear a jacket on a hot day.:)
I would like to intent a teleporter so I can travel to the newly discovered planet and explore it.I can also go to many places using it easily.:)

As a practical thing,I'd like to invent a simple and cheap Solar powered water distillation/purification "Still" that would be of use where surface water would be hazardous to those drinking it..something that could remove parasites or contaminants to make drinking water safe and unlimited.

Hi ShepherdSpy! I like that idea of yours. Since a lot of illnesses come from contaminated water, that water purifier can truly be of much help. One sad thing is that those who are more probable to drink contaminated water also belong to families whose income cannot afford medication. So better make your invention inexpensive so that most people can afford it :)

If it was possible I would invent a car that can drive, go across the sea and fly. It would be like a car, a boat and a plane combined. It would have six seats. In the front would be me and my teenage son. In the middle seats would be my disabled son and my daughter. In the back seats on domestic trips would be my 2 dogs. The middle seat would be large enough for one extra person so would the back seat. There would be plenty of space for luggage in the rear. The wings would fold back when it is a car. The sail would pop up when it is a boat. It would run on water mixed with something else not awfully expensive. It would be so helpful to all the traveling that I do.

I would love to invent something that prevents earthquakes, Suannimies, oil in the oceans fromtankers... now that would be invention now wouldnt it be.
It would take a lot planning and a lot mock ups tries before I succeed and man power and grant money but it would be so worth it and saving lives would be so cool.

I hope we get a lot of funding for the inventions that our scientists and innovators make. It would surely help a lot in our advancement. And I hope the grant money would go to endeavors that are truly useful to man but at the same time earth-friendly.

Hi DoctorDidi! That is a nice invention. I think it would be very useful when you are doing a business deal or when you are courting someone or even when you just can't figure out what a person wants/needs but he/she just wouldn't tell you. However, I wouldn't want my mind to be read so I'll invent a PokerFace powder so it'd be hard for someone to read me :)

I need one of those time turner things. As for a practical invention, I would really like something to catch the icecream that my daughter drips down her cone and makes a huge mess with. Or an automatic dog feeder. Or maybe a robot like rosie from the jetsons who does all of my laundry. If someone did all of my laundry I would not need the time turner.

Household chores... truly tiring thing! But if you look back in history, we have come a long way. It's only in the 20th century that we have come to invent a lot of labor-saving devices like the washing machine, iron, automobiles, vacuum cleaner, etc.

if i could invent something,i would like to invent a great traffic tool.It can fly ,can sun and can swim when i use it in the sky ,on the road and in the river.Because now the traffic in city is not good. I think it's too crowed and accidents is so likely to happen.

I have way too much to do/arrange also. So use the clock and see where my priorities are. It's the only way to get things (most necessary since I am so tired I can't even sleep longer as 2 hours) get done.
