I never expected this...

Ohh. That has never happened to me. That was a huge crap. If that happens to me, I would probably left the restaurant and never come back in that restaurant again.

That has never ever happened to me, but if it did, I would have put an empty glass over the roach to keep it in one place, then called the waitress over to see what just crawled across the table. Then I'd take a picture of it with my iPhone, and post on the internet that this particular restaurant has roaches, so BEWARE!

First, it's hard for me to believe you went to Hooters. You think we should start an all male waiter diner called Weiners? Oops, that was kind of dirty. Plus, who wants to eat a lot of hot dogs. Anywho...no, I've never been somewhere where I saw a cockroach, let alone have one run across your table. I hope you got your meal for free! I do remember my mom being at Shoney's (and maybe this explains why there are no more Shoney's in our state now), she bit into a strawberry, got a funny look on her face and spit out a worm.

This happened to me once at a small independently owned restaurant that we had stopped at for breakfast. We had already finished our meal and we were waiting for our check when a cockroach ran up the wall beside of me. I was very disappointed and I let the waitress know and the person checking us out. They gave us a discount on the meal and offered us coupons for another meal but I declined the coupons. I never ate there again.

I would have caught it and then after putting some sauce on it, I would have ate it as starter (so yummy..crunchy...can you feel it? ) and then I would have left 5 bucks extra as tip while leaving.

No, it never happened to me... not yet LOL It's no surprise to find cockroaches anywhere where food is. That's why tenants have to keep the food place as clean as possible! if that happened i would cancel my orders and walk out of that restaurant.

It is good to be spending some good moments with the mom. I surely love to do that, too. As for the cockroach, there is a need for you to have called the attention of the waitress. This means that cockroaches have been invading that eatery as the sanitation measures are insufficient. it would be good for management to know that they have to upgrade the sanitation measures that they are having at their business area as of this time. hi yesthypayme2dothis my husband and I had decided to try this little restaurant some friends said served the best food. well while we were waiting for a waitress to take our orders a cockroach ran across the floor and under myh legs. we got up, went to an out door phone and called the board of health . the next day we walked past this cafe and it was closed by order of board of health. the inspectors had walked in found roaches in the kitchen and ordered all the patrons out after seeing that they had their money refunded. the plates and left over food still sat there on the tables.This cafe did not open again and the owner of the building rented it to some other small non food business after the building had been fumigated for all sorts of 'bugs.

Not that I can remember, but I do remember a few years ago back when I was still working one of my co-workers ate at this Chinese restaurant that a lot of us used to eat at. Well she was just about to eat her food when she looked down & saw a roach in her plate. After she told us what she saw I never went back to eat there again. What I know can't hurt me, but once I know, well then it can .... LOL

Yikes!!!!!I fortunately have to say that I have not ever had that happen to me. But I can imagine it not being a nice situtation... I do realize this happens a lot more than we know but let it happen during the times I am nor there..I know that ruined your meal sitting..Hope you don't plan to go back there.

I never doesn't have such a incident in my life but i have found out hair of someone while i was eating from the food. At that time i asked the waiter to replace the food at that time without any hesitation he replaced it. So i did not complain this to others. Did you ever find out the hair from the food which you was eating ?
