The internet is so slooow....

I has found some problem with my internet connection during rainy days. During whether change especially during rainy season i have slow internet with more disconnections and trouble. This is due to, the water get inside the wire and make a false wire and cause internet problems. When i had a problem like this i contacted customer care and they cleared the problem by changing the wire at free cost. I think they will do the same to you.

This time of year the internet may be very slow at times. It usually is at certain times depending on what you are trying to do. I would just try at a different time.

I guess it does my dear, specially heavy rains. Also too much subscribers or users group to one transmitter can be a cause too, I don't know much about that but when I have experienced the same problem, the technical support of the service provider if I remember it right have told me before. Or maybe you have experienced that slowness on this site only because sometimes it do happens to me too.

Me too face the same problem with my broadband connection. But I know it is due to the place which will affect the connection. I can get a full high speed at my sister's house but now I am at home so I need to find the best place here but still get the low connection.I really hate it. I can't post more comments and it's really slow to load even a single page. Not mention about streaming video. I can't watch any video if the connection stay like this. I don't blame the weather as it is sun or raining the connection is still the same. Just be patience~

The computers at work get so slow too. I notice a difference between late evening (10pm-12am) it's really slow, but in the mornings around 3am, things are going a little faster. I always contributed this to the amount of online traffic. I also think the weather can affect the speed of the internet, especially when it's raining or there is a really bad storm.

As others have said if you're using dialup then moisture in your telephone jacks can definitely cause problems. If you notice a difference during storms then your telephone line is not shielded and you're hearing noise on your line caused by bursts of static.

I hate that when that happens! Sometimes I think it is how many other folks are logging onto the internet on your internet provider.. unless you have satellite hook up, then the weather can block it.

hilady for me its just mylot site thats slow as I c an play a game of solitaire while waiting for my post to load.I have found when I hit contact and tell mylot admins mylot is taking minutes not seconds to load they do do something to speed it up. I have cable internet jack rabbit speed so its fast on other sites but not on mylot all the time. I do not know if storms cause slow internet connections or not.I would hit contact and tell mylot admins that its really loadingso slow as they may be able to help.

The bad weather has a effect of the internet connection,as far as i am concerned.I also faced the same problem like you,can't even open a single page.I need to be patient to wait that.Sometimes i can't stand waiting,i just leave to do other things and when i finished it.I will come back to check out the page i opened one hour ago,lol.It is really amazing.In my mind,the reason causes the low speech of the internet is i share the limit web with a lot of people,it must be make my website becomes lower and lower.Without any solution,just be patient.

Yes, sometimes the reason why the internet connection is slow is because of the weather that is not so good. I have experienced it already. When it rains so heavy, I can observe that the internet is slowly moving. I don't know why.

Sometimes my Internet connection kills me because I need to be checking my social networks and email and online earnings all at the same time everyday! If I'm having problems with my connectivity or browser conflict then it makes my surfing and Internet experience dreadful and super long. I hate it! This is why I beg my uncle and aunt to purchase the fastest speeds so we can use the Internet freely and openly. Our entire family is practically addicted to technology and the Internet so I can expect fast speeds and good streaming times!
