Have you ever been received surprise lately? On your birthday, anniversaries, monthsery, Christmas, Wedding and all occasions you had. How do you really feel about it? Do you usually cry when times like that happen? How do you respond to them? I love to give surprises. I love when people cry during their special days not because they are sad but because they are very happy that another one has come and somebody make it special and memorable one for them. I make it a point that when i am around to anybody i will be remembered. I love my friends same as i love my other siblings. Maybe because i love to have a big family...

I remember, when I gave my girlfriend a promise ring. I spend hours and hours thinking of what to say. I wanted to write her a poem but I'm not the best at writing. I remember I wanted to tell her everything that I felt. I wanted to tell her just how special she was to me. Well I remember, me and her went with my parents to the grocery store. I let them leave and as soon as they were in the store. I got down on my knees, as if to propose, I looked at her in the eyes. She ask me what was wrong? I told her, nothing and pulled out the ring box and opened it. I'll never forget the tears rolling down her eyes. It was then I asked her to never leave my side. To this very day she still wears that promise ring. So I think its a yes ^.^

that's true mandalee, he is so romantic with that act. And i can say that you deserve that she still has the promise ring that you give. Because it symbolizes not only the love she had for you but also having faith in you to all your promises given to her. Nice one bro.. really great surprise you had.

Honestly, I don't want surprises, but there are times that you can not really stop friends or our family members to give surprises on special day/occasion. If given the choice I would prefer my surprise giver to inform me before hand about their plans. Well, if they informs us then it's not surprise anymore, he he

Good surprises are nice. The ones I like the best are the "Just Because" surprise no special day required. Those seem to stick out in my memory the best.

I love surprises too .so i always feel disappointed.it seems that no one would focus on me by heart ,including my boy friend.last Valentine's day i hope i would got a special gift from my boy friend, but he forgot to do that,at last,he sent me a bunch of roses and took me to the KFC with my hints.so this gift can not make me happy.and we have a bad time that day.maybe i was wrong ,i shouldn't count on him to give me surprise .maybe i should choose to give surprise.i will remember the saying 'no hope ,no disappointment'

Too much expectations are not good in any relationships. That's why if your boyfriend cannot give to you better you are the one who surprised him. Relationship is love and be loved and that is vice versa. keep on posting.

surprised is beyond the thing that was received. it is the appreciation of their being that matter most..

I love surprises. I scream when I get a surprise! Most recently, a friend gave me a terrific surprise. He gave me tickets to see Journey in concert. Journey is my favorite band.

I held a surprise party recently, it went really well. It was my friend Alice's 21st birthday so we turned her boyfriends house into an Alice in Wonderland theme. It was quite easy to do: One room we covered in white & black checkered squares, dimmed the lights and put on music. The kitchen we filled with different sized cups & teapots that we had picked up from charity shops or carboot sales over the past month. And the rest of the house we covered in signs saying "This way Alice" or "You're late Alice" Everyone else dressed up (I was the queen of hearts!) and when she turned up we presented her with a white toy rabbit and an Alice outfit.

Wow! What a surprise for her. It seems that you have more fun.. facilitating a surprise is creating an art from our mind. And being creative and unique is the best thing that we always did. The end results matter to what we create and the happiness of the recipient that was always treasured. Because surprised was not always given to a person... Maybe to some its on occasions but to some an ordinary day that was made special for them.

I seldom get a surprise, to be honest it's hard to remember when was the last time. Well if I don't count the surprise present at Dec. 5th. But since we all know we have to make one for some member of our family it's not really a surprise. I don't cry if I get something, it's also seldom something I like. And crying is not really something I do. Only if it really touches my heart which a present isn't really doing. Also birthdays etc are not really emotional days on which you cry. I doubt if people will remember you if they cry about what you give them. I think this is just at the moment but not a memory forever. We have way too much life experiences to remember a thing like that or the person who gave it forever.

There's more to life kitty, maybe the surprise that was intended for you to remember is not happening yet. Maybe a way of expressions for you is not to cry or to have tears of joy but a simple smile from the heart is something from the one who makes a surprises for you... Something is not so much, but the experience matters. Surprises might not be memory of forever but it is already part of each ones history... Have a nice day...

I love giving surprises, but I myself don't like receiving surprises. I don't know why I love making other people happy with surprises but I guess I don't like being surprised because I prefer the straight forward approach.

people are in different approach in life. They don't want the feeling of being surprise because someone i know said that they might not hold their emotions as to what will be the result of the surprise. That's nice to know that you are a straight forward person.

Lately I have not been surprised. I like the feeling of surprises but I im not usually being surprised by someone or by a family. I used to ask for things that I wanted more than being given of things you don't know at all and might regret it. I prefer to choose gifts than being surprised. But at times I also want to be surprised. It sounds odd but i too can't explain myself.
