She never naps..what happened?

My daughter is 8 and a half. She outgrew naps, and only when she is sick will (only sometimes) nap. She had a 1/2 day of school today. She was home by 1pm. She calls me into her room and asks me to tuck her in she is tired. I checked her for fever..NONE. and she has been sleeping about an hour now. I am wondering if the teachers gave the kids a good work out?

Aww...I miss those days when they still needed me just for hugs and to be tucked in. If she doesn't have a fever and isn't coming down with anything, I'd guess that she just had a tiring day. My daughter is 17 and will still sometimes take little naps. She says she loves dreaming.

Sometimes life just catches up with us and we need a little nap.. or perhaps she's starting to come down with something and her body is trying to fight it off. I'd love to take a nap.. doesn't look like that's going to happen though.

That could possibly be it LOL. I have an almost 3 month old grandbaby now and she has slowed down on taking naps already too.
