Woo today was the big day for our whole clan. My husbands uncle and wife are having a little girl named Isabella. They already have a little boy so in theory this means we will have the opposite of them afew months after there second child is born. I'm so excited for my daughter to have another little girl around her age to play. They already have a son so that is why we think we are having a boy since we had a daughter shortly after there first was born. It's kind of cool and odd that we mirror each other in a lot of ways.

Hi ShyBear, Congrats to another addition on your family! When you also finally give birth to your second child, surely the kids will enjoy. No need to look for other playmates as they already becoming a big group.

Well my daughter does need other kids to play with siblings can't be the only ones that doesn't teach children to socialize you let be with other kids there own age close there own age. It'll take several months after the baby is born for us to even let them play together.

Of course that's for sure. We can't expect a new born to play. I have a relative that have many children and when their kids started to have their own child, they look really happy. When they grew up a little and friends are not around, the kids all go together as a group. They all looks so cute.

hi shybear am I reading right that your husbands uncle and wife are having a little girl and at the same time you are also having a baby you hope you will have a boy/? Cpngratulations on both coming babies. wow You already have a girl so you are now hoping for a boy. congrats.I did it the other wise around. I had a son to my husband's delight then our second 11 months later was a little girl. she was daddy's little girl but sadly we lost Lisa Rose at eight years ole,one is never prepared to lose a small child but it happened and somehow it did make our marriage stronger as we leaned on each other to make our way through that horrow.it was so hard and it took us a long time to fully recover. So your c hildren and your uncles children will be about the same age which sounds wonderful to me.

Not the same time. She much further a long then I am. She is 20 weeks I'm 4 weeks and my husband sister is 18 weeks. Yeah they are the same age. There some is 13 months my daughter is 10 half months. But we live 9 hours a way from each other so the kids don't see much of each other till the holidays.

It is the first time that I hear that you would have the opposite of children of your aunt. What exactly has this to do with eachother? But as I understand you want a son. What if it's a daughter again? She won't be loved that much because you hoped for a son? The gender of the child has to do with the sperm of the man. There are men who are never able to give a son because the xy in the sperm is not strong enough or not too much (and this kind of sperm is faster but lives way shorter). Therefor the xx (female) sperm is slower but much more stronger. I hope you get your son because it sounds to me an other girl won't be that welcome. would be good if you do some investigation on the internet about when you get a girl or boy.

You don't need a son or daughter to feel complete when you have kids you'll feel complete with wha you are blessed with. It's cool they are now having a girl. I can't wait to find oh if I'm having a niece or nephew. I have one daughter myself I'll be happy if I have all girls or not.

I said above i don't care if I'm having a boy or girl. I would like a boy sure because I have a girl lots of parents want that. Well be happy either way just like my husband uncle and wife are. They didn't care either it was a 50/50 boy or girl.

Congratulations on the newest addition to your family. I love it when they are that age, when they still want you to hold & hug them. My niece & nephew are starting to get to the point where they don't like hugs, most especially in public LOL. Enjoy every moment with this new bundle of joy
