I love watching movies especially on big screen at the movie houses. I seldom go alone, it's either with my family or friends. While inside, it's also enjoyable when you have someone to talk to once in a while.Someone you can hold to, if the movie is suspense, comedy, love story or horror and to exchange views about the movie itself.

Yah, even here in the Philippines, watching movies is kinda expensive specially that 3D has now arising..maybe not all the time you'll spend your money on watching movies in the big screen..

Yeah, your right it's bonding moment for the family too. Although the ticket price now are a bit higher than before, but we find it more enjoyable watching the movie in bigger screen.

It is nice to go with someone and experience the movie with them. But i don't mind going by myself. I am a loner and being by myself isn't a problem. I also watch alot of movies at home that i get from Netflix. The ones I think the kids might enjoy we watch together.

I can't say that I go to the movies very often, but when I do go, I do enjoy going with someone as well as by myself. I do enjoy both. It just depends on my mood. Although I have to say that I usually will go with someone.

if I go to the movies, I would rather go with someone. I wouldn't mind going by myself but it seems to me more fun to have someone to go with. I usually take my girls with me. They like most of the same kind of movies that I do.

For me, I think bringing some kids with me in a cinema would be very hard because sometimes they easily get bored.. :)

I actually prefer to watch alone because I have experienced being with friends and I couldn't appreciate the movie because some tend to over react, like watching horror movies, they scream excessively specially the female ones, and when I experienced going alone, I had a great time, nobody to bother me :)

Very True! They make so much noise which interrupts your concentration on a particular movie that you are watching:)

I love watching films alone and i love watching films with people. Best of it all is watching films with people is the best because you get to share opinion with people, you get to laugh at silly things happening and so on.

I don't go to the movies very often but when I do its to see something I can't wait to see on TV so I mostly prefer to go by myself but I have had some good times when I have gone to the movies with a real movie buff, one time we went to three movies in one day, a real movie marathon day, it was a real fun day.

Not very often I go alone. Typically I go with some or all of my family. Yesterday, for the first time, we saw "It's a Wonderful Life" on the big screen. That was fun. Before, we had only ever seen this old classic on a television.

Hi, I have been to the cinema watching alone once and that was when I followed my husband during his company gathering but they didn't include the spouse so I just found my own way of entertaining myself. It was pretty okay, lining up with other couples when buying the ticket but I think I would rather prefer watching with a company. I feel awkward when lining up since everyone else was with their partner and perhaps I was just imagining things but then I thought people looked at me in a strange way. I don't know.. maybe I was just feeling the awkwardness of being alone in a cinema.

When buying tickets I am always the one who buys it.. my hubby is so shy.. even when ordering food I usually does that.. Being alone sometimes corresponds to awkwardness.. It happens to me every time I go the mall when I'm alone..

I usually go with a bunch of others like my high school friends. It's the school break now and me and my friends are planning an outing to the cinema to watch the latest films that has come out. It's kind of lonely going to the cinema all by yourself and then you see people watching movies with their partner or a bunch of friends. So I always go with a group, it's better and way more fun. We always buy heaps of food, hide it in or bags and then sneak them into the cinema and then we share it. We always talk a but and make jokes bout the film too. After the movie, we would go together and do something else like shopping or have lunch. I don't think I have ever been to the cinema by myself, I don't like being alone, I feel a little insecure I like watching movies at home by myself but when going out, I would have to go out with somebody. I don't know but I tend to feel a little intimidated when I'm by myself an there's like a whole group of friends hanging out, I feel that they're judging me

I have tried going to cinema alone.. honestly, I felt lonely.. coz I can't share m opinions about the movie.. but I have tried watching with my friends we are about 10 or 12.. OMG! I got pissed..They are all noisy, I really can't concentrate on what I'm watching.. So the next time I went to the movie I make sure that I am just with my hubby..

There are 2 ways for me: If I go to the movies for the movies, I don't care if I go alone or with others because all I care about is the movie - in fact, sometimes I would have liked to be alone so that I can concentrate on the movies and nothing else. If I go to the movies for the occasion (to be with someone or friends), then who I will go with is my concern. In that case, what movie to watch is not the priority although it is better if it is a watchable movie - but sometimes different people different taste. There were instances that I hated the movie so much so that I kept looked at my watch to wait for the moving pictures (yeah, just some moving pictures to me! :)) to reach the end.

Really, I've Done it once but I only felt lonely..In fact we have the same opinion, me and my hubby are with different taste when it comes to movie, she love fiction, adventure type of movies but I prefer Comedy, Drama and action movies.. So its so hard to find a particular movie that fits our taste.. When my hubby wanted a particular movie that I really don't want I usually sleeps and she just wakes me up right after the movie end..but after that, she get's mad because the whole movie I just slept
