How to block a certain person from receiving call and text in my LG KM555?

It all depends on the cell phone service he has also..because I know of a friend having someone blocked from calling her..or alteast Verizon does..but as I said depends on the company.

If changing number is not an option all you can do is wait for that person to get tired with texting/calling you. Let his foolishness shine through that he can't sleep because of it. There are studies that show bullies often get difficulty sleeping at night.

Most phones do not have that ability to block. IF u really insist, call your service provider, they might be able to do it for u at a price, of course. IF not, change your contact number and that would solve everything.. haha I've always wanted to block some numbers as well but it's not easy. As such, i would simply ignore them and they would disappear after a few months

Either ignore them or change the number which is a great pity to have to do that. I suppose that the initial setup does not let you block them either. I have that on my phone it does not work as I have tried to block a number as well.
Perhaps they are services that you have to contract for them to work.
No way better off with a different or secondary number a prepaid card could be a good idea.
But with time they might just give up hope they do.xxx

I have a sony ericsson phone and it has accept calls -- all callers / only from list / none choices and thanks to this i don't have to change number.. I get to add the numbers that can call me and don't add that should not.

Me too I used to be able to do that with a really old mobile but with this one all I do is to make a list of my own like you do and I only answer the list and leave the rest out.
A few calls are mistakes when they have dialled the wrong Numbers they are genuine enough one eventually got fed up of leaving me messages to call him which I did´nt of course.
Your own little list is the safest way now I think that you have to Contract that kind of Service here as it does not work on this Mobile I have at the moment.
Best Mobile I had was a really old fashioned Motorola and you did not have the chance to press all the wrong keys and it locked when you did it manually.xxx

You will have to contact the company you use for phone service and have them block the number. I had a friend have the same thing happen to her and she went to Verizon and told them the situation and said the person was harassing her and she wanted the number blocked and they blocked it. You might also be able to do it from the site of the cell phone company you use also. Or find out how maybe from reading the FAQ?

I don't think there is a way to block them. I think you will have to change your number to block them now.

It's look like a Spammer.....That is easy my friend....go to setting and scroll to call and select ok to enter the menu. Then, scroll down to "call reject" and select this option.
Select call reject list on the next menu. Enter the number of the person that you wish to block and confirm your selection.
