i think we must agree that we admit that our education systems is not perfect.. we always believe that the government too had worked hard to improve our education systems even its not easy because one of the factor is the indonesian geographical situations.. with many island and separated by the sea, the difficulty to realize the same level from education level in Jakarta maybe and level education in jayapura.. iam from sulawesi island knows how the different situation , education systems in java island and outside java island.. so maybe we can share here, we can discuss, if the government ask you, how and what is your suggestion about our educational systems... i think we can be smarter when responding here, because i want the discussion can be reference too for our country, maybe thanks for your attention my friend

Governments do have to pay attention very well, and improve the education system, in Indonesia. I do not know, where the actual fault location. But, very clearly visible, the education system in Indonesia, need to be repaired.

Yes. It is very unfortunate, it happens. Supposedly, the government can quickly, can overcome this issue. I do not know, why the government, as if indifferent to such circumstances. There must be someone who dared to act, and rebuked the government. If it continues silenced, education in Indonesia, will not be evenly distributed, and only growing, in large cities only.

Indonesia is geographical country which is separated the island, this condition effected on many aspect of life in Indonesia include education. The distance between Java and Papua is so far and effect on the distributing all of the items of education to be the same both island. Java has more supported factors to grow the education faster such as more education media, strategic and accessible location, many choices education ( cheap or expensive), the high motivation to be educated person both from students and parents, and the competition that could make them studying harder to better. Whereas the Papua island is wider than Java and the people live far away one to another, the motivation to study is not as high as in Java (not all of them want to study, don't know from the students or parents), the education media also less complete here, those factors make Papua's education grows slower than Java, whereas there are so many clever students from there. It is so ironic condition

i think i dont agree your statement when you said that the people and the parents in Papua doesn`t want to learn..or doesn`t want to study. it`s the right of them to get educational things from the government like their brother and sister in Java island...it`s the right for us as people of indonesia, where we live.. and the government or private must provide it for the people.. yes, thats the irony.. why only in Jakarta, the government care about the education?? the people is not only live in Jakarta..c`mon.. thats why maybe some of people is unsatisfied with the government in Jakarta.no fair when make development

I guess we can not blame everything to the government. Let me bet, if the education become free, how many percent of student still want to learn seriously? Many people in Indonesia (not only specific area) think that school is unimportant. Why? they think that many people can be rich although not well educated. In my place, there are a lot of rich man with a lot of luxury car but their education is low. It is not the problem of the system. It just the problem of us, the citizen that do not have strong spirit to run the system. Like Japan system which will not suit to US student, on the other hand US system can not be applied at Japan. Our system is a hybrid of Japan System and a mix of US and Dutch system. But our thought can not shift from our traditional mindset. We always think that the title is important but always nullify the important of the science. If you think it is the fault of the system, I think you are wrong. It is already deep down in our heart. You can ask every one. As example: the farmer make a fool of agriculture student because of the theory can not be applied. But, in reality the farmer sometime overdo the dosage of fertilizer given by the student, because at initial it gives good result. We must strong in running a system after that improve bit by bit. Not like now, every moment people argue that the system is false and need to be changed. A system never satisfy every one, but it can be improved.

I don't think so....Geographic does not affect the educational system, it's just technical effect. The education system as a whole is set in a law and other supported regulation. Suppose that the problem of national exam and minimum values. many quarter that the national exam should not be held, because there are specific differences between general and specific school (SMA and SMK).

i give one simple example.. how about the distribution of lesson book of course it`s easier we put the book in the java, sumatera island than spread the book to Maluku or Papua..
