India making more than 300 in away test becoming rare now adays.

Its again a flop show in first Innings by Lower middle order and lower order batsman. Need to see back when India hit above 300 in recent foreign soil game. Is our batsman hiding to the bowlers. I can't see attack stroke from any batsman in middle order, they themselves loss their wicket by going into a shell. If the rorate the strike means it will be good attack in Test match. Now score is 260 for 9. Expecting some great show from India from here. if they bowl out under 300 then they have to bowl well and restrict Aussie below 300.

yaso4u-- right now it is 273/9. I think Indians will make around 290. After that also don't you think this match is heading for a draw. Decision may not come out of this match, in my view.

Thanks Mr.Ravisivan for yours welcome, I enjoyed my few days here. Now India all out for 282. Match going to end in a draw is not fact. I think India had to play well from here atleast to make to draw. Lets see

With wickets falling so quickly draw is the least possible result. Australia has the upper hand now but of late test matches have been crazy, look what happened in South African and with Newzealand as well.

Seems to me that the headlines is all about Sachin Tendulkar getting that elusive 100th international century. Do you think this is also affecting the teams performance?

I too hope he gets his century soon. He is without doubt the greatest batsman currently playing and I am sure he wants to finish on a high. I see India have lost the test match and Sachin failed again in the 2nd innings. Next time maybe?

Hi Orson, Yes all are hoping for sachins ton but i don't think it affects team performance totally. If this has to affect the performance then it has to affect only one man thats sachin. So its not good to blame or excuse for bad performance by this way. I hope by this form sachin will hit his century very soon..

I am too much angry on these player why they do like this? ha in strong position to slip to a postion where they can lost the match. Well why they are playing like stupids and loss wickets uselessly. I had hoped that they will make up 200 runs lead and now they them slef are trailing by 51 + 72 second inning score. The lead is now over 100. Why dhoni never play well in test cricket or he don't want to play test cricket better levae it man and join the party with your fellow yuvraj singh.

Hello rajeev075, I was also expecting a lead of at least 150 runs for India. But, now Australia got the first innings lead . As you said, Dhoni need to play much more better in the test matches. He need to be there are on the front for guiding these guyz !

I think results of this series depend upon the ability to the bowling line up of team to dismiss the opponents without making big score. Australian's seem to be with a bit upper hand on it especially being on their ground.

Chances are 50/50 for India to win the match. if the wickets fall quickly then India may lose and Australia may win the match. Otherwise it is India's match.

Its difficult for any team to make in excess of 300 on the wickets outside the Indian subcontinent, the Wickets in overseas are fast and seamy and it needs a real attitude and strength and mental positiveness and toughness to score runs outside India.

Hi Umesh, Its correct. In foreign soil its diffcult to make 300+. But seeing our batting line we can make atleast once in 5 Innings know.. Hope they will do best in upcoming matches

After the end of the West Indies tour, India really struggling to bat well in the foreign pitches. But in this match, they had a best opportunity for crossing 300 or 400. But, they were a complete failure on the morning itself .

Batting has lost the charm. Dravid, Laxman are showing signs of their age and the youngsters are still not prepared for the big platform. They need to improve. Raina should be given more chances in tests.
