Tracfone Card

I have a tracfone card, it's a double minute card. It doesn't actually give you minutes, but it makes your phone doubleminutes so that whenever you buy a card and add minutes it automatically doubles them. In any case, I bought it as a gift but the person can't use it. the security code has NOT been scratched off, but I also can't return it. Is there any websites out thre like plastic jungle or something that would take it, and give me some money for it? Was just wondering because I'd like to get some money out of it. I'm also trying to sell it on a yard sale site but if there's any other sites out there... Just let me know please. Anyone use tracfone?

Have you tried Points.com? It is supposed to exchange cards and you can exchange them with others too I think. You should check it out. I don't use tracfone but this site may give you some options.

Thank you so much! I'm hoping it does because I don't use tracfone either.

I hate to tell you this but your pretty much stuck w/ that card. Don't plan on getting any of your money back anytime soon. Back before I met my husband I bought a Tracfone plus a minutes card to go w/ it. Well once I got home I had a lot of problems getting the card to upload the minutes onto the phone. I spent a couple of hours w/ their customer service hardly understanding one word they said until finally I was able to get the minutes added onto my phone. Then I tried to set up voicemail which I needed because my Mom was constantly getting sick at the time & I wanted my family to be able to leave me messages while I was at work & away from my phone. Well once again I had problems. I could not set up my voicemail. I called customer service again & after being on the phone w/ them again for a couple of hours they said that there was something wrong w/ the phone & that I had to take it back to the store. So I went back to Walmart to return the phone & they said I couldn't. Once I opened the phone & uploaded the minutes onto the phone it could not be returned. I was furious. Here I spent a couple of hundred on both the phone & the card & I couldn't even use it. Finally my Brother in law took pity on me & let me in on his family plan with AT&T. So my advice to you is to stay away from Tracfone. This wont be the last time you will have problems with either their cards or their phone service.

It was a gift, I don't use it. I have straight talk which is through tracfone but different. I jut want to get my money back or some of it for the mistake I made by getting the wrong card as a gift. If I can't oh well. I want to get rid of tracfone and go with AT&T but not sure about that either will just have to see I guess.

I figure I'll end up just being stuck with it anyway. Nobody uses tracfone anymore.
