Frightened in the Dark?

Yes, I am very frightened in the dark when I was still a kid. I do not want to be left behind by my brother. I usually follow him during night times. Truly, I consider him as my best buddy.
My dear friends and fellow mylotters, how about you? Are you frightened in the dark also?

Yes i too was very scared of dark when very small but not now. As you grow older you tend to shed off all the fright that you have when you are young. Happy mylotting.

Like all kids i used to be frightened in darkness, but not any more at this age, i am 67+ now.

I'm not really a huge fan of the dark. Never have been really, whether it's as a kid, or now as an adult. I'm alright, when I'm not by myself, when I'm with someone else, my husband, a friend, or something, but it's when I'm by myself that I get a little scared. I don't know what it is, but I just don't like it at all.

and I'm not afraid of the dark.
especially at night when it is still dark and gloomy.
but to say it comes from our suggestion.
Yet I ask myself what can be done in the dark you go too many other people why should we fear and we fear.
I personally afraid but to wonder and try to bull me not to walk in the dark in order to overcome this fear.
and you do this.

I have never liked the dark instill don't like the dark at all. I manage it know to the point I can be alone in the dark but some times I still get scared if I hear something that I dot normally hear in the dark.

I used to be afraid of the darkness too when I was a kid.I always used to imagine that a monster was creeping under my bed when I was alone in the dark.But now I am on more afraid of the dark because I know those ghosts and monsters aren't real.They are just instruments older people use to frighten kids or to stop the kids from disobeying them.:)I can stay in the dark for hours without peeing in my pants.:)

I think it's mostly becoz of what we are being told about dark and satan in our childhhod and so it lays hard as rock in our mind..
most of us dont believe in ghosts but when the person is put to dark he would..kind of ego thing..I am too afraid of dark ..but I havent got a stern idea why..
