I have no time for resolutions!

Action not Resolution - Instead of making resolutions this new year, for which I have no time, I am fully engrossed in concrete action.

Yes. Because I am completely engrossed in action. Almost 10 hours+ every day since the last 15 days, which will remain so for the next 10 days at least. Since I have an approval for leave of absence from work for a month. I am making one big determined thrust to set up a revenue earning system which can help me either in quitting my day job or at least choose an easy job so that I can remain focused on my online endeavors alongside. It is a make or break effort. I am working on a number of alternatives. Affiliate marketing, review articles, online jobs by bidding with past credentials etc. I have met with only partial success so far. I don't have much to lose anyway-except the feeling of not realizing my way of living. Are you working on any concrete plan right now?

Oh! I guess I am more or less settled into that groove. :) I am 52 so I can happily say I have a few years less than you to plan for. :) And so I dont need to earn all that much...by god's grace what I have should be enough. Online works..to substitute regular inocme..not sure it is possible. You cant get a steady income. You can, however, try to earn something steady like 10 to 15 thousand INR per month. Lot of hardwork..and discipline? Do you feel up to it?

Hey vandana, I'm no younger either! Just that I find the whole thing too intimidating and I have this nasty, long time habit of going hard at issues that seem challenging. I have to sustain present earning level for a few years more, to see my only daughter is on track to a good career. Yes, some assessment gives me a hunch I may be able to do it. But then, I agree, its a hunch. I have therefore said to myself that everything that I do, will be done over the next 10-12 days. Else, life as usual!

It is nice you are pursuing with full commitment and dedication. In case you write in technical area probably you may be rewarded more.

My first desire is to write high value content. Typically about contracts, project management, reviews and superior English editing of technical articles. I have also gained some web development & related skills which are in good demand in e-commerce. I am hoping it all falls into place.
