Well, I went and voted at the caucus. I am disappointed that there was not a larger turn out tonight. I would think more people would have turned out, but it was about the same.

That's very disappointing. This is such an important election--I would say our future hinges on what happens in this particular election. You would think people would be more enthusiastic about the outcome and their role in it. I was also disappointed in the outcome but it's what I anticipated. The GOP knows the candidate they want and will make sure that one gets elected, regardless of whether he or she is the best choice for the country.

well, the turnout may be different in other precincts. i hope people go out to voice out there preference and stance. iowa caucus is very crucial. the winner will have momentum going towards the other primaries. i hope the most able and capable win this caucus which is up for grabs by three candidates.

I would have thought that there would be a large turnout. Sorry there was not, but then in some ways it is not surprising. Too many people have simply given up on the government and the political process as a whole. Plus I think there are still a lot of undecided voters out there.

From what I understand, it must be the weather. But a lot of people don't typically vote in the Caucus.

I am so sorry to hear that specially since most of the candidates did their best to get in all 99 counties. Unfortunately a percentage of our young adults just does not think voting pertains to them. When we are young we are expendable. We don't see what all the hype is about like voting, congress, etc. I see it every day when young adults come over and I ask if they are going to vote. I can say I told my son to register and Vote. He will go with me here in Florida in a couple of weeks. While most people don't think its important, This election could mean the down of our country. on the other hand, if you follow your local arrests etc, there is a sum of people that getting a felony or being arrested are not allowed to vote. Thus another area of humans that have no idea what voting is about. It can be VERY frustrating I know as we get older and know the importance to our country.
