Do you search for friends or love on internet Matching sites?

i used to but it never work out, so i rather meet people in person but that also hard too, so i am stuck in the middle, plus i am always shy around girl, i never know what to say to them, i dunno why, i try i couldnt never start a converstation, even my friends i have that problem.

I have never gone into any matrimonial sites but i have one friend of min who got into somechatting channel and became a close friend with a stranger and now they are happily married.So, it all depends on each individual and sometimes it works and other times it maynot as this is internet world and strangers are alway's strangers and some might even have hidden motives...isn't it?

Ive tried it once, and it freaked me out, so I quit immediately the next day. You get weird people on these kinds of sites, and I had one bad experience, so maybe its not conclusive to conclude. But Ive decided that I would look for a mate the normal way!

I'm happily married so I never look at those sites. However, I have a friend who uses Internet dating sites all the time. He has had many dates, and occassionally an extended romance.

I search for love. It's been years and I have had no luck. I always find guys who are not serious or they just disappear.

i visited only once to a matching site but i was trying it only for making friends and not for it's real purpose;) so when i started getting serious offers for dating i stopped going on the site. i think it's much better to find my match searching in real life than by searching on internet so i don't visit such sites.

They're all a waste of time and money, just go to myspace, where you can meet pretty much the same people: for free. I've also noticed that some sites have pictures of people that aren't even real people but Computer Generated. I've also notice that some sites have multiple profiles of someone from different locations as if they're trying to attract people to sign up. This is not to say that all online matching services are not ligit, but if you can get something for free, and also be more sure about what you're getting without spending loads of money, which is more worthwile?

i checked out those sites for matchmaker and the like only once. i keep on asking myself if that was really what i wanna do with my love life. But at the end of the day, what's left of me is the thought that i won't do it again or just try because it's definitely against my culture. Online dating isn't that good if you're really on a long-term relationship searcher..it's still better if you know the person personally not just by chatting etc. but this was just my opinion..=)
