Clash of Titans

I have not seen either version of it...But I did read some bad reviews about it. It looks good though- from the trailer, since they are usually good; the effects and action is great... But maybe it does lack depth since it spent too much time on the action.

I've watched it a few times. I'm a fan of mythology, Greek or Roman. I don't usually expect movies to really depict what was written in the book but that's all right with me since I'm just after the entertainment value of movies. I did however was not that thrilled with the movie. I was hoping that it was more on an epic type film. Still, the remake was far more engaging to watch than the original one :)

I want to see it. I think maybe I saw an older one? with Brad Pitt? Looks like I could stand to watch them both.. or all.. (I find myself weeping over the horrors of warfare though.)

I haven't seen the latest one yet. There have been several remakes of this story. Glad to hear that the latest one has good effects. Did they have the little metal owl in this one? I always liked him. I may have to put it in my queque of movies on Netflix.

I agree. It was awfully short. The shame is that they took an opportunity for a good story (which was a remake anyway) and just used it as a vessel for Sam Worthington's rising star. They just wanted to rake in some dough. I think they could have really elaborated on the story some. The writing was good, all things considered, and the effects were actually better than I thought they would be. But the story went by far too quickly. I was hoping it would be something like Troy, but it was more like the typical action-adventure flick churned out five times per year.

When we look at the rating of this film in the trusted movie critic sites, the score is just low, averaging only 4 out of 10. When I saw the movie, the depth of its story is lacking but when you look at the total picture especially the effects, they were really good. And that's how to entertain people, to show a movie with scenes comparable to reality. The reality wherein the viewers could say that the gods/event looks very real.

i think that the movie is great considering the effects that it made... i love the head of Medusa, i think it look so real... i just hope that the next movie will have even greater effects...

Considering the special effects, I can say the movie was good. Well so will be its sequal "Wrath of the Titans". Dont ask for story in such kind of movies as most of us are already aware of Greek Mythology. So a much effort is put in to making the scenes look as much real as possible. Enjoy mylotting...

I agree. There was something missing. Yes, depth, I guess. And, like you, I liked it nonetheless. I remembered I watched it in 3D.

yes..its true..eventhough the special effect back then in the 60s wasn as good as this new one..but its much better than this new Clash of the titan..short is one..th eother is the head of medusa part ..too quick and if u never read the story of the titans..and ancient greel gods..u would not understand the scene heard they uses to medusa's head etc.. anywya..they have part2 coming soon..seems like a better movie..

I have watched this movie twice. The second time I have watched it was I didn't know that I already have watched it. I thought I haven't but I did a long time ago. I like the movie.
