I finally had the time to watch it and it was a wonderful movie. I loved the story, atmosphere, the music, even the jokes. There were a lot of morals learned... I have missed watching Disney fairytales and this was a good comeback. I hope they continue making Disney films like this..

Disney has been making this type of movies for sixty or more years. I don't think they will be stopping any time soon. I saw a tv version of this with Carol Burnett and it was great fun. I will have to watch Princess and the Frog, its been along time for me also.

yeah, but their style has improved now, the animation and story- the Disney Princesses seem ot be more liberated too. I haven't watched tv versions/ live versions of Disney movies though.. I'll try and watch one if i find one.

I haven't watched this but I hope I will watch this someday....I miss 2D cartoon movies a lot mostly from Disney.... Since there are too many 3D cartoon movies, I see the production company slowly to leave the 2D format. How I miss those type of movie....Cartoon with 2D format looks more refreshing and interesting than the 3D~~

I am not really a big fan of the 3D either but the animation is still ok. I doubt they'd go back to 2D though, people always go forward.. What matters most is the story anyway and the songs too.

They will come out with more 3D animation and less 2D. That is no doubt..Yeah, the story and the songs are much more important. I will try to find the princess and the frog story and watch it..(^^)

I loved that movie too. I went with my daughter and her two children. In fact, my eldest granddaughter is 21 years old, so she is no child. I was worried thogh that they would make fun at me because I cried when the little firebug was killed. But my granddaugter was wiping her eyes too. I loved the settinfgs in New Orleans and Mardi Grass. It was much more that just another fairytale although I love fairytales as such. For me, this is Disney at his best. Probably the best movie since Disney left us.

That scene was really sad to- but at least he got what he wanted and was together with Evangeline... That was really awesome.. It was nice to know but their culture and people too.
