My brother used to say that he was allergic to onions because he did not like them. He was not. My mom told me that when she was a little kid she used to tell people she was allergic to tomatoes because she didn't like them. Did you ever fake an allergy when you were a kid? If so what were you claiming to be allergic to?

i was never that inventive when I was a kid...I would just come out & say I didn't like something.

If I did that, I don't remember it. I did use to lie about being sick. Whenever there was something going on at school that I didn't want to do, I would say I was sick. I was really shy and I hated being in front of people at school, so I would make things up to avoid doing it. I really regret that now because I missed out on some good and fun experiences.

I'm pretty sure I may have, but I can't really recall. Then there are a lot of times where a lot of my early childhood is fuzzy. I'm sure there is something that I did, said that I was allergic from, which might have been code for, "I don't really like this", before I knew what allergic truly meant. I do recall saying that I was allergic to homework on the weekends once, but that was mostly out of jest.
Still I'm sure there is something. I'm pretty certain that I might have done something but recalling exactly what. Perhaps when I was five, six, perhaps I was old enough to make certain statements that were kind of complex but not sure what they really meant. Of course, there are just a lot of times where I said a lot of things when I was a child.

Yes I did. In fact I was quite the story creator when I was a kid and made up all kinds of things to tell people. I told everyone I was allergic to tomatoes because I did not like them and I didn't want anyone to give them to me or try to talk me n to eating them. I even told my own mom I was allergic to them but of course she knew that was not the truth. I also told people that I had eye surgery and I wore a patch to school and everything to feed my lie. Not really sure why I did that I think it was because I had to wear glasses and people made fun of me for it so I wanted to make them feel bad by making them think there was something seriously wrong with my eyes.
