I have to iron a shirt for my husband tonight for a special event at his work, I realized that I have not ironed in a couple of years. The last thing I ironed was a dress up shirt for my husband. When was the last time you ironed? What did you iron?

Oh I absolutely can't stand ironing and it will go for years without being done unless I truly have to do it. The iron gets too hot and I have to drag out the big ole ironing board for it, what a nuisance. I have better things to do with my time, and would rather the wrinkles fall out naturally anyways.

I iron very rarely. The last thing I ironed was a blouse several a few weeks ago. I have a scarf ready for ironing now, I just have to work up to doing it. I do not like to iron because I was required to iron so much as a child. This is one of the task I do not enjoy doing. I prefer wash and wear.

Ha ha, I work at a dry cleaners. And so I generally don't iron ANYTHING whatsoever. I barely enough know how. I kind of learned how to do a mens cotton dress shirt though. But it would probably still look bad if I tried.

I rarely iron my clothes anymore. I used to do it everyday, every morning, before going to work, when I was still employed in this big cosmetic manufacturing company. Everybody dressed their best there, so I had to. Now, it's all from the dryer straight to the hanger. No need to iron. I can't even remember the last time I ironed.

Ironed shirt? - Oh it doubtless was, but then this was nearly 20 years ago that I was photographed here. By Jane Whitton.
A few weeks ago, I think it may have been, I tried to iron a bed sheet freshly extracted from the drawer to make sure it was 100% dry, only for the bottom of my iron to come away and hang precariously loose. Of course, I immediately unplugged it, and shelved it, as it was looking distinctly dangerous. I think I may have dropped it some time ago, but I thought it was still working. Not now it isn't. Since then I've worn unironed clothes, which is fine when it's just casual clothes; and my best black trousers don't need any ironing. When it comes to shirts though, whenever I wear one, I do so with it unironed. It doesn't bother me too much; and when I want to make sure that my sheets (and other items) are 100% dry, I do the sensible thing...I place them on radiators. One of these days I'll get myself a new iron...

Like you the last thing I ironed was my hubby's shirt for work. I rarely go out and I usually wear shirts and jeans that don't require any ironing. It's not that I dislike the chore, but rather electricity is quite expensive and if I can go without ever ironing any clothes, I would do so.

I haven't ironed in about six years! I hate ironing with a passion. I am now super lazy and take anything that needs to be ironed to the dry cleaners. We barely ever have anything that needs ironed though, so it doesn't cost us very much. I might spend about $10 a year at the dry cleaners. I've never been good at ironing. I'll get one wrinkle out and create another. I always end up frustrated. It's just not worth the hassle.

The last time I used the iron was a couple weeks before last Halloween - ha ha!! My daughter wanted an Angry Bird costume and I wasn't going to pay forty dollars for it. So I bought some felt and stitch witchery to make the costume myself (and it only came out to less than 10 dollars!). I loved that I could iron the stitch witchery between the felt instead of sewing it all (we don't have a sewing machine - and there's no way I had time to do it all by hand). And far as real ironing goes, well, I don't think I can think that far back - ha ha!

I hate ironing with a passion. I try to avoid it when possible because I stink at it! I never get those darn wrinkles out! I'm going to try to iron some of my shirts before I pack them away for college because they're unbearably wrinkly, but I absolutely loathe ironing. And it never works for me!

I think it was about half a year ago. Previously when i was staying with my boyfriend, i used to help him iron his shirt for him (he wears business causal to work). Therefore, i did my part as a girlfriend and help him to iron his shirt. HOwever, now that i moved home since the beginning of this year. It has been a long time since i iron his shirt for him.

I ironed a few weeks ago, but before that it's been awhile. My girls are in girl scouts. So I have to get the iron out when they earn their patches for girl scouts and they need put on their vests.

You are not going to believe this. I ironed a couple of weeks ago, and it was to make bread toast and noodles. My propane tank had emptied out the night before, and I had no fuel to make my breakfast. I usually toast my bread on a pan and use the same pan to make instant noodles, the standard breakfast. I put the slices on the counter, turned the iron to linen, put a fresh handkerchief on the slices and ironed away slowly. There I had, not the perfect toast, but a warm and crunchy one. I let the iron cool for sometime and them filled the steam tank in it with water and let it heat for some time. I poured the steaming water into instant noodles cup and got the perfect breakfast. That is what a desperate man does in desperate times.

I always get to iron what i have to wear for the office in the morning, when i see that there are creases in it. An ironing lady comes to our house on Sundays, to iron the dried clothes that our laundrywoman laundries on Saturday morning. But sometimes, because the blouses are hanged almost crammed up in the closet, it would get creases. Thus, i would still sometimes iron the creases, because i don't like the creases showing. But my husband would wear his shirts even if they have creases.

I am a guy. I iron my office clothes every week. Dress shirts, pants and handkerchiefs. Ironing is also one of those moments I give myself to reflect upon the week. I like ironing moments. Try to do it more often. You will get the hang of it.

the last thing I ironed was about 4 weeks ago. A very badly sewed weddingdress. I gave up on it. Just bought a new iron since my daughter wanted to print t-shirts herself for her bf. The iron I had I gave away to an other daughter. Think I also did not iron since years. It's a waste of time and I don't buy clothes anymore that need to be ironed. So I assume the baby clothes of my daughter (now 6 years old) were the last things I ironed as I was pregnant of her.
