Scrambled eggs super and Dr. Seuss

I love to cook and I adored the book about making scrambled eggs from all sorts of imaginary birds. That showed me that I could do anything I wanted (as cooking or anything else in life goes). But I get tired sometimes of people (here and there) that make a conversation or post about each ingredient they place in their pot. Is it a question of money here, I ask myself? Do they really make so much food, do they bake 2 pies a day? Would anyone be able to bake two pies and not become obese? Does anyone care about wht each one of us eats everyday? What do you do here with people that repeat their posts until you just want to shout? I don´t want to bragg and I don´t want to boast, said Peter T. Hooper... If that mylotter wrote as Dr. Seuss did!!! Not a chance What would you do, friends? Share!

Ahh, nuffin' like a good ol' rant but I rant a lot myself For those who post with trivial matters I think they're in it for the money or they don't work their brain muscles to get creative about their posts. Opps! I think I"m gonna get a pie or similar food/ingredient in my face for such harsh comments! Normally I ignore those posts because they're boring. I need posts that'll make me think. And besides, there's always a good chance of mylot admin deleting those kinds of post because I'm sure a lot of people flag them.

It seems they don´t flag them enough, friend, because they keep on appearing. And even if I decide to have that person with a "notice off" (if I accepted him/her as a friend, they still spam mylot. There are some interest where you will see 10 or more posts by the same person, one after the other. JEEZZ! Anger is still on A big to you.

I am lucky if I get the time to respond to one discussion per friend each day, so While I read each discussion I delete most. The reality of it is that I could spend all day on mylot if I had no other life. I also cook food in large amounts but this is always eaten as leftovers for as long as it takes to consume it, that way I don't spend a lot of time in the kitchen each day. We eat a very restricted diet due to our health concerns, no white products ie: flour or sugar. I hope this answers your discussion, I was somewhat confused. Not to worry, that is normal for me. Blessings

Really my post was a rant about people that make posts of trivia (at many of them at that so my email is cluttered by their posts. They make a post of each ingredient they place in their pot. I do as you do: I answer only some of the discussions. But still I would be happier if some of them made better posts. By the way, I love yours. I try to imagine where you live, so different from my cluttered city life.

I love that book! We had it when I was a child and my dad could do all those words without a problem!

Sure hope this wasn't directed at me...guicha! I know I did respond about the huge meal I was cooking for my son's birthday..but it was an occasion, as I did not have Christmas..until he came home...So we did Christmas, his birthday (Dec.29) and New Years..all in one! I think that was in response to you! Yikes..am I in trouble? Usually, my life is not that simple, that I have time to write about nefarious things.....but right NOW, I know I sound like a "broken record" as this darn weather is really clogging up my life! Oh well..can't wait for my favourite season; Spring--as it brings soooooo MUCH anticipation! How's your tomatoes and leeks? BIG HUGZ!

Of course not, Perg! I don´t mind (and usually enjoy) when someone talks about food or cooking as it is one of my interests. But what I mean is the kind of post: Today I made an applepie. Do you like applepies, guys? My family ate it all and I did not get a piece". Then, the next day, the applepie is changed to lemonpie. At hte 3rd "pie" post, I have this serial killer feeling and want to strangle the person. Tomorrow I´ll take a picture of my tomatoes. Summer here, but I have not had as much fun as other times with the chemo aftermath.
