In my Chinese class, we celebrated Chinese New Year last 20 January 2012. I am really happy that we had it because everyday we always have quizzes and I am getting tired of it though I always get perfect score.
Anyway, we celebrated Chinese New Year by bringing Chinese foods like siomai, ngohiong, ampao pua, tikoy, dice ube, macy and etc. We was really loaded with foods during that time and I was so full! There were still food left so the teacher gave it to other faculty members and scholars. I also brought home foods since I can't them all.
Kung Hei Fat Choi people!

That sounds like a lot of fun. I don't know a lot about he Chinese New Year when I was in school we did not study it, but my kids did study it in school and they had a good time doing it and they also had a party in their classroom to celebrate the Chinese New Year and to learn what it was all about and some of the games and foods that people eat on that holiday.

Kung Hei Fat Choi too. Let us welcome the year of the water dragon with competence to achieve our goals this year. May this year be more prosperous as the last for use to cope with the non stop rise in the price of basic commodities.
